this team sucks worse with larry's crazy sub patterns. why play frye for so long when he's playing aweful in front of his home crowd? he took 18 shots and made 4. i hope this embarrassment won't regress his growth. on then there is curry who took only 7 shots in 25min. WTF?

oh well who cares that we lost, the point is we can be a very good team this year, especially if the offense gets better

at this point im done critizing every move larry makes if the knicks lose, im sure there was a good reason for it.

are you serious? what 3 point shooters do the knicks have?

suns are on a 9 game streak... knicks won't win 9 games for another 2 weeks

don't let the fact that we were close fool anyone... the suns missed a lot of shots.. but lets not get ridiculous

Phoenix is not a good team, they're just a good run and gun team, A good team doesn't need to take 28 3-pointers. When the playoffs come around they will be sitting at home after the 1st round!!

Why do the Knicks need 3 pt. shooters to win?

Big deal. If the Knicks traded Marbury for Nash they would go on a run as well.

Hate to say it, but Frye cost us the game. He's a rookie and he wanted to have a good showing back in AZ - no big deal, but he should learn from it. he rushed too many shots and forced up a lot of shots in double and triple coverage instead of kicking the ball back out. As far as marbury is concerned, did anyone notice how our offense functioned a lot more smoothly when he was out? Crawford seemed to look for cutters a lot more and set up the offense better IMO. Marbury can score, but he stagnates the offense way too much - it's the same thing from him, penetrate and dish, or pull up for the jumper off a pick and roll. We also needed to recover more quickly when phoenix was denying the ball on the post - we usually spent 14 seconds trying to get the ball inside, and when we couldnt, we'd give up and have about 8 seconds to get off a forced shot.

But they are still a good run and gun team. They are very hard to play against in the regular season. Yes, in playoff series they can be stopped. But if the Knicks get anywhere near the record of the Suns this season, I doubt many will be unhappy about that.

As I said, they need a PG, but they almost beat two very good teams on this trip.

i hear you, and i honestly don't disagree with you... but the turnovers are just reflective of this teams awful passing... if you guys catch rewind, just make a note to pay close attention to the passes the knicks make, even when their not turnovers, so often their just terribly sloppy passes...

that goes for everyone


Yes indeed... the knicks have so much talent but they really dont understand the game... very low IQ players... Larry has his hands full... it can only get better from here

I think LB left Curry on bench way too long when we had nothing going; Butler couldn't hit anything. The one sequence where he made a terrible pass, then did a stupid foul made me crazy

the fact that we were close means alot, did you happen to see the final score of this game 81-85 this is the same team that scored 125 against the blazers the other night, even though we lost there were definite signs of improvement in this game

Yep. The Knicks will be very good. All they need to do is reduce the number of turnovers, improve their offense, their free-throw shooting, and their defense, and they'll be doing fine.
