A team that starts Davis, Taylor and Rose should not win a game EVER. Nice job by IT, he sure built a contender lol.

You all can blaim Brown all you want, but if you ****, you can only make ****cakes.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

yes, I'm sure Isiah forced Larry to start those three. A lot of this loss is because we didn't have a healthy Curry to set up our inside-out offense.

Who was Brown supposed to start? Frye? He is not ready, he prolly would have picked up early fauls.

Lee? He can't guard Okafor for his life.

Butler? No way is he good enough to play against the starters either.

I mean cmon, stop acting like this team is stacked with talent. Outside of a several VERY GREEN youngsters we have nothing. Marbury is supposed to carry us, and well, he simply can't carry any team as his track record shows. Way not to show up again today. Craw was superspastic today too.

I don't know about that... even when healthy, he doesn't know when to pass over the double-team.. Once he feels the pressure of the double-team, he turns the ball over..

Reason why the knicks loss is because they couldn't matchup with the Bobcats efforts. A couple of guys on the knicks showed up but collectively, they didn't show enough efffort..

The Future. GO KNICKS!

ut oh, time to abandon this thread...feels like an argument on the way.

Hey, we still could have won, we had it to 11 from being down by 21 with time left in the 4th.

Maybe they looked ahead to philly? i don't know...One thing for sure, the kids on this team are going to be great great great.

Jackie, Frye, Curry, Craw (I'm sure), Reezy (just enough to help).

Rose is contributing nicely, feeling his way on the team.
MoT, not sure why he didn't shoot when he was open, but played good solid defense on OK4.

Another early season loss, knicks take a step back, however, still encouraged by what I see.

Sleep tight fellas. Saturday, Sixers, See you at the game.

fishy disclaimer...when I said Reezy just enough to help, I was saying this year, I still think he will be an all star eventually, in the league...if wallace doesn't edge him out every year.

Don't forget, they also blew out Indiana (122 - 90 [worst than us]) and the Sixers (110 to 93).

Yeah but we don't have the luxury of not takin a bad team seriosly like Indy does or Sixers. If a team that is supposed to try hard to win comes out like this, you know somethign is really wrong.

Exactly. This is a game we needed and we get manhandled.

yeah, you're right, Mo Taylor earned the start over Frye. What was I thinking?

I just said that losing Curry hurt our front court depth. But why did Frye take less second half shots than Butler and Rose? Was there a particular reason to start Mo Taylor?

Man don't get me started on Mo Taylor please. But if you start Frye who is coming of the bench at C? Mo Taylor? Cmon. And I'm stickin by the fact that right now he is better of the bench.

Jackie Butler was solid off the bench tonight. But more than the rotation and who starts, I'm concerned with HOW the offense runs. marbury is supposed to play captain unselfish with Malik Rose and Mo Taylor on the baselines? That's just a cruel joke.

Like I said, a lot of this is because Curry wasn't available. Check Chicago's record without Curry last year, it isn't pretty. I think Mo Taylor and JJ were crap moves, but I think other than that Zeke has done a good job. But I still don't think this is the right team for Larry Brown. I think Larry Brown will be the mistake that costs Isiah his job. ah well.

Isiah's immediate job was to get people to buy more Knicks tickets and bring excitement back to the Garden. He got Marbury and did that. Now his job is to win. He got Larry Brown and now he will do that.

Its all about freaking 3rd quarters. Larry should definitely consider starting the 3rd quarters with the rookies at least to get the energy going and maybe set up a better play from the veterans. We always seem to do an awful job on that quarter and Brown should make something about it. Had we hung in there for at least a 10- deficit maybe we could've made a run in the end. Also, what the heck happened on defense? Grrr. Long season...

LB on Crawford:
"He's more of a highlight reel than a point guard right now"

No, he said that about Nate Robinson...

When asked what happened to Crawford tonight he said... "I dunno"
He looked good at home against Portland, then he interrupted his thought by saying something about team play, and made his point really clear by saying we are thin in the backcourt.

Its the same story all over again. The truth is that we have no identity in our backcourt. We have no real backup point guard, and its a shame because this was supposed to be Nate's job. We have no real shooting guard since Crawford isn't really a 1 or a 2, and Quentin has been awful as the 2. We also have no real 3 as Barnes is a backup at best and Ariza is another backup that seems to be a long time away from any starting minutes.

Brown has lost some games with his decisions, vut the truth is that this team is a mess in the backcourt and many of these players have to go. We will not become a contender with no identity in our backcoust. We need a new starting 2, a new starting 3 and a real backup 2...
