Frye is this team's MVP.

Again...

Steph hasn't played like a leader and superstar does.

He still doesn't grasp his role as the "franchise" player.

That said, he still had a pretty efficient game.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

25 and 8 from steph, and not exactly "impact" stats.

i hate when ppl say that...all stats have an impact in the game....regardless...if these stats werent impact ful..we'd be down man..it might not have significance as you may think, but i honestly feel his stat line today was important

Stephon earned those cheers!! Good job, Starbury!

Good team effort on the closeout. Channing Frye is the real deal.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

he played well today besides we're playing Portland at the Garden. We don't need Steph taking every shot in the 4th for us to win this game in particular. But we sure could've used good 4th quarters from MArbury agaisnt LA & Denver

I'll give you an example.

8 To's from Miles does NOT equal 8 To's from AI.

8 Assists from Marbury does NOT equal 8 assists from Kidd.

It's now always WHAT you do, but WHEN you do it.

Marbury doesn't exactly produce "impact" stats all that much. For all those assists, he doesn't exactly get everyone involved or playmake or create on-court chemistry.

And for all those points he doesn't really hit any big shots...

Good win against a decent team. I still don't feel like our team is beginning to gel together despite good individual performances.

on-court chemistry starts with your PG.

that's all i'll say about that...

after this game i think brown will let steph do his thing on the offense...

our offense can put up points.....we're 2-1 in games when we score 100 or more

in da one loss it was in OT against the celtics

^ that's gonna be trouble in the long run.

steph still considers himself the franchise player and the best PG in the league. by "letting him do his thing" LB will basically be giving up on realizing his potential...

although yes, it WILL get the most out of Stephon for now.

Question for Larry now: Do the I let Stephon play his way until I can get a real PG in here to run the team and slide Stephon to the 2?

No way, you have to teach our young guys how to play team ball.

I agree with you. I still want to know if Stephon was playing LarryBall today or if Larry eased up on the reins today.
