Listen, Brown is showing IT what crap team he has made. It needs to be done. We have a bunch of young talented playes not ready for primetime, they need 2-3 years to start winning.

If we had any good vets to go along with them, then yeah, we would be winning. But guess what, our veterans BLOW! Q sucks, Rose is awful, AD is 37 years old, Taylor is a bum, James is a colossal failure, and Penny is broken down past any kind of use.

That leaves with one veteran player how can actually play in Marbury, and he is not willing to buy into the system because he realizes that with the talent on this team, by the time it will start to pay off, he will be past his prime.

Marbury on this team just doesnt make sense. We are rebuilding, we need to trade him to a team that can give him a chance for a shot at the title. I really hope Marbs is not Rod Strickland all over again, just fading into obscurity as he gets over 30. If you like Marbury you should want him traded to a contender.

We are young, inexpereineced, and yes, bad RIGH NOW. Show some damn patience. We werent gonna win anything this year, or next year, or the year after that most likley.

If this will cost IT his job, I would not mind. His drafting is very good, but his trades and signings are pretty awful. He shold just be a talent scout, like oh I dunno, Layden. Apparently both have the same fatal flaw. Guys who can draft real well, but can't help themselves when it comes to trading and signigns.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

brown was not hired just to show we can start winning 2-3 years down the road....that's not acceptable.

if brown cannot sell starbury, a native new yorker, questions will challenge his greatness (brown)

please, can someone tell larry the regular season has started, stop playing knicks like preseason

when brown decided detriot's championship was less priority compared to taking new york's coaching job.....taking on starbury was not an option

what makes you think the rookies arent ready for primetime? they're clearly alot more ready than anyone else on this team. also I don't think this team is as bad as you say. remember, we play great basketball when nate, craw, fyre, and lee are in the game. so far, every game this year the knicks play very well with that group during the strechtes that they play together and reduce the lead that the obviously ineffective starting lineup caused. but larry doesnt use them enough. also even some of the writers on espn predicted the knicks to make the 8th seed this year. so its not like no one should have expected the knicks to win this year. I agree with you though that we should show some more patience before judging LB since its still technically very early in the season, but the thing is, so far it looks like larry is making the same stupid, game costing, rotations that he's been making since the begginning of the season over and over again, if fans can learn from his mistakes why can't he? Thats what makes it seem like progress is taking longer than it should. LB's insistance to play the veterans is, as far as I can tell, the thing causing the knicks to lose games, not the fact that the knicks are the terrible team that you seem to think they are. oh and also I think that the knicks should trade away/let expire all their vets and just go with a full youth movement.

Chris Paul isn't the only rookie who should play 42 minutes a game

I disagree that the youngings are 2-3 years away.

I mean these are mostly 3-4 year college grads, with the exception of Butler and Ariza who have been here already for 2 years.

Obviously everyone needs work in certain areas.

But as an example, consider this - right NOW, Ariza is filling a certain role for us. An energy defender who can run the fast break and dunk. That's pretty much it. But in the future, who knows what he can become -- Iggy? Howard? We'll just have to be patient.

So yes, I agree you have to find a balance b/w vets and youngings at all times, and as someone already stated, Marbury is just about our only reliable vet.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
