size, ball handling, vision, feel, defense, IQ. its all there. Just needs to become a decent shooter and that seems like something that will improve in time.

Diawara and Dadiet are going to be insane bench wing rotation players behind OG, Mikal, and Hart.

Dadiet hasnt shown anything too exciting, but its hard to look at Diaware and not think Siakam.

Siakam is a career 33% 3pt shooter on low volume, so I dont think Diawara even has to become good from 3, just decent and has to find a niche like Siakam did. Siakam was so raw as well.

Funny when we was tanking we got Ntlilina, Knox in the lottery and assembled other lottery rqeclamation projects like Mario H, Emmanuel Mudiay and a few other. However, a late first like Dadiet, a late second rounder like Diuwara, and an undrafted player like Pate seem much better.

I’m in the opposite boat. He certainly hasn’t put stuff together but his cutting and shooting have potential to be elite. I’m excited.

thats encouraging, i didnt watch much of SL, just lots of clips of Diawara b/c he intrigues me.

But we have a nice young core where you figure at least 2 of these guys will pan out.

Ninaj, Huk, Kolek, McCullar, Diawara, Dadiet, heck even Pate is showing something... i mean those are 7 young guys we have with potential.

And Rokas is always a wildcard I wonder what the plan with him is though.

Dadiet in games sometimes will look smooth and other times can toss a brick that doesn't hit the rim. Must still need to some work on muscle memory/repetitive motion. To me it was clear he was still learning last year and needed a fair amount of refinement. I'm not sure he's ready to step in yet this year, but there is clear potential with his defense and he has a good looking shot if he gets it consistent.

I can believe Pacome is shooting great in practice environments - everything about his shot is pure/quick.

He’s still only (20?) and coming to new country and the best athletes in the world.

You can feel him rushing things some in summer league and brief stints last year BUT shot mechanics are really solid.

I noticed an uptick in his quickness in brief summer action and looks tighter body wise —- just keep developing this kid.

I think those misses are just him rushing and that equates to pressure (maybe mental for a young kid).

For pure mechanics Pacome is right there with Brunson, Kat, Clarkson, Deuce and IMO his mechanics better than rest of our squad including OG/Mikal/Hart/Yabu j-shot forms/release.
