Rokas played well versus Haliburton and Brunson. Get him over here if for no other reason for some conversations on the forum

I did not read anything into it. HE was appropriately respectful to the team that beat them. To be lessor would be "ugly American".
He was "professional" in his response. They might see them again and it serves no purpose to build Rokas or them up more, and at the same time be lessor and diss them adding some motivation. |

Yes, Jalen said all the right cliche's you would expect if you only cared about FIBA.
But as a Knicks fan first, I personally was most interested in the fact that he said nothing about Rokas as a Knickerbocker past/present/or future tense. He could've said any number of things that would've given more insight into Rokas as a Knick but chose to stay silent on the topic. And that choice was sort of interesting to me. For what it might mean if we allow our imaginations to go wild during these dog days of summer. Everything in moderation. Even moderation.

Maybe we can say what we think? Euro guards are different animals. They play a different game. Very unselfish. I saw him make some nice passes and his team beat a more talented one. Ant Edwards man to man defense was impressive. Lith did well to break the full court press though and pulled it out. |

Well Lithuania just got bounced by Serbia so Team USA may have done well to face Italy instead of Serbia

Lithuania I guess ran out of gas with back to back. They will celebrate its US victory for years to come.
Im not sure we fans of the USA fully understand the pride they have in this. We take our dominant stature for granted and expect to win. They are a country of just 2.8 mil people. Its GDP would put them 37th of they were a state in the US. Population they would rank 36th between Kansas and New Mexico. The story of South Sudan making the Olympics is freaking awesome. |

Glad Rokas showed up nice. Perhaps if not a knick his rights are trade worthy of some value.
Good to see Iggy Bratz and Kuz succeed. Once a knick...... Naturally I'd like to see team USA win and our guys play for olympic gold next year. Not expecting Josh Hart to make it but Jalen should IF WE WIN....... I think Bridges is a lock. He been playing up and brings the defense. Anthony Edwards man to man defense is impressive. Dude is ready to take the next leap. |
