His contract is not bad, Last year he was Lebron-lite and his new contract is like 50th highest. It's the same as Brogdon who is far from a superstar but a nice player. Last year Randle was a superstar.

I'll laugh if after BRIGGS's Cam thread and all the lamenting about us giving up a 1st rounder, we end up ultimately turning that 1st rounder into a better one (or possibly two firsts) and dump Burkes and Noels salary in the process to sign Brunson, just for the price of holding on to Cam for a week

Last year don't play. We did not cash out at the top, because we were high on the exuberance of a first-round playoffs appearance and illusions that we had finally found our Lebron-lite.

But if we did not trade him last year, trading him this year certainly does not make sense either. Especially for Brogdon, with whom a pretty stacked Pacers roster went nowhere.

Agree with this. And I’m not saying randle is beyond criticism Just getting sick of the nonsense like randles contract or thibs “hates” Cam etc

Remember Cam can only be traded by himself. So this rumor is fake.

Might be where Kendrick Nunn fits in. Salary relief and picks...I wouldn't be mad at this deal.

I’d be ok with Fox but WITH RJ and Randle. Credit to Sac, they drafted not by position and eventually got more back then his 14th draft spot would have. Thats one one to do it. Sabonis is a quality allstar player. A very different type of player than Randle.

The Reddish thing is a curious storyline. Does Aller/Perry see him player for here or a future trade chip paired with another? Did Thibs not want him NOW or NEVER? Just a few weeks in there is not rotation spot for him. Most mid seaosn trades do get played because of need. I buy things of value when on sale if I don’t need it. I buy stocks when I percieve good fundamentals and good price. When it goes up I don’t know. stock traders would see that as stupid. Expectations matter. We don’t understand what FO did here, and since team is not doing well we taint it badly. Fans prerogative.

He is just an every other year guy, gonna come back even stronger next year.

Can't cut and paste the article, but the rule is he can't be traded with another salary (the term used is used with another salary to aggregate the salary of a player). In this trade, the Knicks can use Noel and Burks to make up the salary of Dragic, thus Cam's salary is not be used in combination with another to make the trade work.
