and the point is...if they were not going to get steady mins....i mean none of them...why were dwill, koq or seraphin brought in?

These are not first or second year players...
That's Gallo, Early, KP, Grant.

The first 3 I mentioned have been in the league 4 years or more. And they may have not received consistent minutes elsewhere, but whats up for debate is whether they should be given consistent mins or the expectation is that 4+ years in the NBA you will be on a short leash. FYI...they are 24, 25, and 26 years old respectively...Grant is 23 and expected to have been ready for the NBA game.

So a player's age and not how well they play determines their minutes?

Good thing Fisher doesn't think this way or we would have never seen KP.

You guys also realize that one reason KOQ, Seraphin and even DWill have had trouble getting minutes is that KP is so good and has commanded a lot of minutes? You realize this, right?

No we're just using him in screen/rolls which play towards all his strengths. And Jose missed him on many rolls. He's a lethal screen/roll guy because he can roll to the mid-range and pull up. Roll all the way inside and dunk. Or just stay back the 3 point line after the screen and shoot the 3. Meanwhile the guard can go to work on the mismatch. This offense creates far more mismatches for the Knicks than anything else.
