Well hopefully soon Fisher will close the games with a Pablo/Jose back court.

unbelievable

Absolutely not. Watch the play again. Pablo made the right play.

Melo set a screen so JR could get open and take the inbounds. Then Melo broke off that screen with three seconds left and for some reason JR decided to play hero ball. He had an open Melo with three seconds left and he decides to chuck a three pointer. Don't blame Prigs. It's all on our shoe lace lover.

Magic just played last night, in back-2-back. NY had no game yesterday. NYK had no excuses.

Orlando Magic came in & says to Knickerbockers
"I'm going to take this MAGIC Foot and Wop you knickerbockers upside right here on your face!"
"And you know it's not a darn thing you can do about it !"

Enough said, 2 - 7 team.

im not sure about. Pablo could've waited for Melo to step up for the ball than post up for the 2. Instead of passing the ball to JR out near half court.

Not sure there was enough time for JR to get the ball to Melo. It would've been an off balanced heave.

Debatable.

Melo actually broke away from Pablo to set his pick. He was in no position to take the inbounds.
The play was definitely drawn up Pablo > JR > Melo

And it worked. Pablo got it into JR with 3 full seconds left. Melo then broke away from his screen, he was open to the right of the top of the key...and then JR put the ball on the floor, dribbled to make a move past his defender, and heaved.

You know what, though? JR actually had a decent, open shot. Just didn't go in. But still, chucking a three pointer in a two point game with Melo open down low was idiotic. As Fisher said:
"You don't draw it up for a three point shot like that."

First game I turned off early. Glad I missed the JR bonanza at the end. Realized I can't be watching this very much anymore. There is no satisfaction in it.

Another lost season.

It is all nice and peachy keen to say this is just the beginning of something new, but even then we're talking YEARS, years people. Are you going to stay glued to the next 100-200 games until there are signs of a real turnaround, provided that even happens.?

I knew we were bad after watching our roster in pre-season, but we're worse. This is one of the worst Knicks teams of this century so far and that is a pretty scary thought.

This is now THE WORST OFFENSIVE TEAM IN THE LEAGUE and OUR DEFENSE IS A NIGHTMARE TOO.

Basically, this is one of the five worst teams in the league. Easily.

If Jose has little impact, it will be easy to downgrade the win prediction to the 18-22 game range.

This is tank by default. Pray for it. Hope they land the #1 pick. Because the best Free Agents will not be coming here. Keep dreaming about maxing out a buddy for Melo. We're going to get leftovers.

Who would play on this team if they can get close to comparable money to play on a real team? NO ONE. So we'll end up chasing and overpaying Plan B and C players and that will screw up the roster and salary management even more.

Yeah, we're fucc'd.

Too bad we lost, but that was a fun game to watch. I had the Magic as my sleeper pick this season but I have to admit I wouldn't have believed they would play this well without Oladipo. I don't care if these guys aren't brand names yet, the Magic can ball. Fournier was impressive, love how he doesn't hesitate to take it to the rim, and does it well. They have lots of guys who can shoot, and I was impressed with how most of them were nothing but net. This is a well coached team.

Shumpert keeps getting more comfortable around the rim. Jason Smith is pretty much a first half wonder so far. Judging by the way he couldn't elevate on his jumper in the second half, and it was clanging off the front of the rim, I'm guessing its conditioning. His defense is better in the first half, still not stellar, but passable. In the second half, Wear is a much better option to get Smith's minutes. JR still finds ways to frustrate.

I don't know what Fisher is doing with the crazy minutes for THJ. He's not finding a rhythm. his minutes have been all over the place and that's partly why he is having trouble finding his stroke IMO. Maybe Fisher is trying to teach him to be ready for minutes at any time. IDK.

Melo forced the issue a lot less, and he's becoming clutch again when it comes to timely buckets to get back in the game.

The team got a chip on its shoulder when Frye snatched the ball from Acy on a change of possession, and got back in the game. We didn't win, but that's a good sign, haven't seen much of that this season, except from a few players.

Well that makes extremely depressing reading but its difficult to argue with any of it. What a shambles we find ourselves in.

That's OK. The silver lining is it makes it easier to walk away. I've waited so very long for something good to happen that I kind of forgot my other option is to no longer care. I keep being pulled back into the vortex of this thing even if it turns into sifting through the wreckage and now I'm here butting heads with fans who can't face the reality of the situation. I don't want to torture anyone with my observations. If people want to live in a haze of suspended disbelief and carry on cheering for what will remain a really bad team for probably a long time, then I'm not going to rain on their parade. They have a right to believe if they want to. I don't believe any longer. And that makes me glad, not sad. Good to know its fucc'd so I can do much betters things than follow a train wreck to the scrap yard.

So you're leaving the board, or will you continue to share your glad train schedule tidings with those of us in the haze?
