I think the Blazers declined Thomas Robinsons option, so he'll be a UFA in the offseason- kind of surprised me as he seems to be doing okay for them as a backup PF
Robinson is a nice player. The only problem with him is that he is a little undersized for a PF. They have him listed as 6'10" but he is more like 6'8".
What are your thoughts on Mchale's coaching
Now that Lin is no longer there
Stopped following them when Lin left. Can't argue with the record. Is it really his coaching though or is it just Harden becoming more of a 2 way player now? My understanding is that Harden has been playing some really good defense and his stint with the US National Team is to be thanked for. I also thought they had a downgade with Reezy but it looks like he is making a big difference with the defense. Reezy and Dwight are a good combination in the defensive front. They have had a pretty easy schedule so far. I want to see how they do against tougher competition. They man handled the Spurs so that is a start.
I still stand with what I saw last year. He was a bad coach last year. Just watch the series against the Blazers.
Which means you were never really providing yourself
With enough credibility to give an objective view of their team
I saw video of McHale yesterday teaching D-12 how to post
Something assistant coaches should be doing
If Harden is playing better D McHale can't get credit for this
Yeah Riza helps but appears McHale has made it real easy for him to transition into their system
It only goes to a player when the team performs well but when they
Perform bad then blame the coach, naaaahhhh not buying that
