hold it for last shot ... best case you win... worst case it's ot

It was so we got the last shot instead of giving them a chance to win it

Why the **** is JR in the game. 1-7 from downtown and he decides to shoot another one. Re-post on your instagram. The dude is a huge minus every game.

So many fails for this team

There was no need to take that shot plus J. R. was not hitting tonight. If he would have just held it, they would have had to foul and send us to the FT line all the while taking time off the clock.

No screens out of a timeout again in crunch time.

when he comes back down to earth--where is the team.

Shump wasn't making a positive contribution in most games. If he can be an nba caliber starting shooting guard that is a huge plus compared to the first third of the season when both shump and jr were not making positive contributions.

I think Beno was trying to beat his man to the ball.

I would have called a TO as soon as they got a rebound and set up a last shot. Strike that, would have been the same thing we saw just now

VanGundy is good at calling these types of timeouts...Woody shows his weakness during the end of games. This is why Woody needs vets and only plays vets. Gives him on the court coaching help...which he needs!

Bad leadership from everybody....Somebody should've yelled and said hold the ball.....Probably Tyson since he tipped it. I can't blame JR, because I already knew he had low organized basketball IQ.

Why wasn't Murry in? With Shump, THJ and Murry you do not need JR.

Agree. Cutting Chris had a positive impact on the team. Sitting jr for any reason, poor play, social media mishaps etc. Shump is back, Tim is a great spark off the bench. Send the message.

It amazes me that a pro coach and a former player with this many years in the league can't figure this out.

I'd have to think that, like Bargs shot, no one though JR was gonna take that. I was certainly shocked when he pulled up.

This is what I been saying for months. Kidd and the vets filled in the major holes in woody's coaching. Once we got the reb Kidd would have called a timeout. Woody just sits there with his dumb look,

OR you have a wide open look at the basket which leaves you with the highest probability of taking the lead. More often than not you don't get a better look than that.
