I'm not sure if I've posted in this thread but since it sits atop ummmmmm 3(1 better than Lin) weren't enough?

I would grant that right now Kidd is probably better than Lin

I figured that point guard was Felton but uhhhh okay Jason's Back Willin. Lin has had more all-around productive games than all of our point guards this year

The Lakers basically gave away Sessions last season because of expectations. I don't know who that player is this year, but the Knicks should find him. Kidd is not a point guard anymore(plus an overrated defender) and Priggy is a 3rd stringer.

Have you compared Kidd to Lin recently?

I think Kidd is fine as a PG but only if you have an SG who can penetrate and is a good passer.

Lin's in his first 100 games as a PG and is inconsistent. His best games have been better than any of our point guards but when he's at his worst, he is worse than Kidd or Prigs ever are.

thats awkward. You have it backwards. Kidd is fine at SG as long as he has a PG who can handle, penetrate and kick. Or off the bench in a limited role which he will be once Shump and Felton return

Maybe if you are only looking at numbers. There is no stat to illustrate the effectiveness of pushing the ball down the court and penetrating and creating. Both Lin and Felton do this very well.

Kidd and Prigs dont and you are seeing the effects on the Knicks offense

Season as a whole, Kidd has been better. Last 10 games, I'd give the edge to Lin.

It's fine to give a little weight to pushing the ball up and penetrating. To say that that compensates for being the least efficient scorer in the league at your position (and not even close to the next worst PG) is far-fetched though. The Knicks are an old team that's struggling. They had lost 3 of their last 5 before Felton went down.

That would work too. You don't think Kidd would be fine at PG if James Harden was his back-court teammate?

3 Headed? You still see Kidd as a PG?

Felton is out, Pablo is a 3rd string PG, we are playing without a starting PG and a backup PG

You keep brining up Bellinili
But Bellinili was not signed for the veteran's minimum, so we never had a shot, Bull's opted not to use their MLE like Lakers did for Jodie Meek's to save salary
He is strictly a shooter, no DEF, no handle, no versatility at all, there is a reason why CP3 opted not to recruit him to LA Clippers

Janeero Pargo makes the most sense to me, with the way how this team is constructed and how Woodson prefer's veteran's over talent

Some speed/quickness to initiate the offense, allow Kidd conserve his energy and be spot up shooter/snipe, as the 2dary ball handler and more importantly DEF the quicker guards

Garreat Temple if he gets waived by Wizards and Livingston by Cav's

and

make that phone call to Martin's agent

Thats true I didn't expect the Knicks to overpay for Camby and be able to offer Marco more money.

You missed my point. I'm not saying the Knicks have a 3 headed monster at pg. I'm saying many others were saying it and now evidently we only have 1 pg, a 40yr old sg and a 36yr old 3rd string

We need a PG
