the Chandler/Felton pick n roll and JR is our offensive game plan.

JR is the only guy who can stay with Harden. Chandler is the only guy who can protect the rim.

kinda wish JR and Chandler didn't pick up those cheap fouls.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Not enough movement and passing without melo..we can't win one on one. Not worried though. Team is really low on offensive talent with the injuries. We have a whole starting lineup out.

no ball movement and despite JR playing well, he's not drawing doubles, so he's a one man show

Houston doing a great job playing the passing lanes forcing them to go one on one guarding the pick and roll pretty well to

No Amar'e, No Melo, No Rasheed, No Shumpert, No Camby....

I think Knicks will be fine win or lose.

Also, this game is far from over...

yes thats true however im tired of seeing us get lit up by houston

Knicks are down by like ten points. That is nothing. Where does lit up come from?!?! You need to relax and let the game play out. Even if this is a loss, I can live with it, since our roster is somewhat decimated.

The quality of play in this game says that we are getting LIT UP. The Rockets are getting whatever they want against us. I don't see an adequate response, do you?

Knicks are down by 14. Lit up would be more akin to what we did to the Lakers which was 41 points in a quarter. Lit up would be the 130+ points we gave up to HOU the firs time we played. Put on your big boy pants and stop whining.

The reality is the Knicks offense is generally trash without Melo. We can't score consistently and JR / Chandler are in foul trouble (these are two of our best defenders). When I saw that Melo was not playing I knew this game would be problematic.

Gotta look at what Felton brings to the table which is supposed to be perimiter defense and the ability to run the PnR with Tyson.

Felton trying to take over is the problem. He starts moving the ball then they will do better. Rockets have problems when other team shares the ball like spurs and Dallas.

Theoretically Deron Williams and Joe Johnson should give the entire league trouble.

Harden also kinda been putting it on the entire league too.

Okay.

How is that working out?

He does bring some valuable things but it does not make up for his blindness. Our PG needs to be a PG.

one of the ugliest halfs to watch Knick-wise this season, at the very least the worst 2nd quarter.

Jr smith should start for Brewer and Novak should be the shooter with the 2nd unit
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Eh, while that's true every team can look for excuses.
To me it doesn't mather how or to who we lose to, it's always painful.

This

Well, you guys have no perspective. I do. The Knicks will lose anywhere from 20 to 30 games this year. They are going to lose games. No need to get bent out of shape over any particular reg. season loss. Also, this game is far far far from over. We got totally blasted in HOU. This is not remotely similar.

No perspective? I just don't see why I should "accept" any loss because you know a team isn't going to win every time they step on the court. I know they aren't going to win every game, but when they lose it's always tough and for me it's normal to not feel ok about it.
Just because you know no team is going to go 82-0 it doesn't mean a loss is "acceptable" because of that.
You lose because you don't play well enough, and you know they can play better.

You don't see why we should not get bent out of shape in a game THAT IS NOT EVEN OVER where the opposing team is fully healthy and we are missing 3 starters and multiple bench players? Ok. To each their own.

The Knicks can still win this game. It will require a herculean effort, but I have enough confidence in this team to believe that they'll get it done.

JR is hot, but has to stay out of foul trouble. Considering how depleted we are, all the players have to be extra-wary to avoid silly fouls, while maintaining better intensity on D.

Glad that the day is coming soon where we will have both Melo and STAT back. We need them badly during this homestand.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

This is embarrassing, Disappointed
its early

But the Knicks & Woodson trying to get in a shootout with these guys
no fundamental basketball in passing and pick & roll, nor switching defense.

Basically playing into rockets hands of speedball

you need to as John Andriese says 'knock ' a few of em' on their tails
going down the lane, if you going to foul rockets make it count and make
em feel it.

Too easy the hoops either Lin, Harden & cast going to basket OR getting open jumpers.

Ray Felton better get his mojo going
he is the driver of the game floor & he need to set tone going to hoops and getting folks involved
to do same as opposed to kickout jumpers which aint workin'.

Woodson and coaches better blast their as_sses in halftime
fans pay too much money $ to see this crap,

especially when same team embarrassed you on their Houston Gym

The Knicks are treating Lin & Harden as if they are D-Wade, Lebron OR Durant.

The Rockets two-some is ok
but if your not going to give them any force their points aren't going to be coming easy they will put it to you
all night long unless ..you do something about it.
