If Knicks don't match Fields and Lin that means Mike Woodson has a strong voice in personnel decisions.

Isola implying that Woodson doesn't love Lin or Fields. watching the games, i would agree with that assessment...

Fuck that ****. If Woodson doesn't like players who can help us win then he can get lost. We're not talking about a Phil Jackson, Greg Poppovich, or a Doc Rivers here; Woodson is absolutely replaceable.

Lol @ Caseloads calling Lin ungrateful. The Knicks didn't even make him an offer. They WANTED him to sign an offer sheet and he did. The Rockets gave him that money. Is he turning that down for the Knicks? No. This is a guy who slept on his brother's couch. He's taking the money. Knicks paid $120 million for Isiah's lottery teams but now don't want to match an actual good player. James Dolan at is again.

i don't think is about money. it's about Lin going back to the Rockets to try to construct a deal the knicks wouldn't match.

at some point you have to ask - does this guy want to be here? and is that the best player to have on board in a season you're supposed to be all in.

we already know there's tension between melo and lin. and we know woodson backs melo...

STILL. that said... i think letting Lin go would be a HUGE mistake. bad move.

felton is a good guy, but he's not even as good as lin was after MDA was fired...

Maybe, but whether Lin really had any role in it is completely unsubstantiated and based on nothing but stupid rumors. I tend to agree with Isola on this, not sure Woody really wants Lin. Yeah I know what he said, but I am not sure I beleive him.

Seriously. Dolan is ungrateful for how much money Lin earned him last year. Dolan does not deserve Lin, and Lin doesn't deserve to be stuck working for dolan.

Yeah, well that wont happen. Dolan likes his stooges too much.

Way to go off the deep end on heresay and innuendo. Mike Woodson wants players who can help him lose?

Im not a big fan of Felton but the guy give us what Lin provides, assuming Lin doesnt turn into an allstar.

Felton gets to the rim , throws alleys, and turns the ball over. Meh, I can deal with it.

I'm telling you, once Lin went back and got a BIGGER offer sheet from the Rockets, Dolan probably went through the roof with anger.

This is a Dolan move.

What, you think Woodson is the first coach to want to get rid of a good player for a worse one? Shit, Larry Brown, one of the greatest coaches of all time, was infamous for trying to pull **** like this.

Completely and totally agree. I'm having flashbacks of Sprewell being traded for KVH because Dolan wanted him gone.

Uh no. Its called Lin doesnt want to be here move. He didnt have to sign a toxic deal like that. Pretty sure Knicks would have matched the 4 yr 30 million dollar deal.

Lin just trying to cash in. I dont blame Lin and I dont blame the Knicks. Lin gets paid and Knicks get not be ripped off. Everyone wins.

Felton's also one of the least efficient scorers in the league. He definitely has some strengths and I'd welcome him as a backup PG. But as a Lin replacement on a win now team? That's the kind of decision only Dolan would make.

Please stop. Hawks fans already know this guy never played young players. They hated him for it. He was fired for playing broken down Bibby over Teague, who is not a very good PG.

What makes you think the 4 yr $30M was still avaialble once Morey made the switch? Oh wait - you have been trying to get rid of Lin from day 1.
