Shumpert. Fields. Carmelo. Stoudemire. Chandler.

Shumpert is coming off injury and already more effective in managing the floor, on BOTH ends.

THAT is the squad!

Shumpert changed the ame with his energy and defense and at least had the brains to see he was off and continue to feed melo. Td would have chucked up some shots during that run.

I've finally landed on this conclusion. I have no idea what has happened to this dude cause he was a terror in college.

Almost their with Fields too. His feet are very slow.

Where are all the people who said "Tony Douglas is a great defender"? There was more than one of you. Fess up.

If anything TD has regressed even further from last season. I like Landry but yeah I don't wanna wait around for him to regain his confidence. If we have enough guards in the rtation and he can backup Melo then fine. Otherwise he is really not adding anything.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Exactly. Keep Shumpert in starting lineup even when Davis is ready to play, then when Boom Dizzle is in 100% game shape, hand over the keys.

Was it Baron Davis' twitter account?

If not, it's pure speculation.

Heard rumors that Baron is making good progress, but the Knicks aren't going to rush him back since it's a spinal injury.

IF they can get by with Shump and maybe work Lin into the mix who knows. I'd say Bibby, but he hasn't looked too good guarding anyone. I think Lin could at least stay with guys a bit better than Bibby. Don't know if he's ready but i'd be curious to see if he can handle it. Not until we get this game tho.

I believe that after the scarring from the beginning this season heals TD will be a valuable contributor. But those contributions will be from the bench.

At least he can team into set and pass the ball to melo in deep post..vs passing it off at half court then getting it back..missing the open man then hooting a brick 3.

What's been even more unfortunate is that TD was put in a position he shouldn't have been put in and asked to do something he is not equipped to do. The resulting failure almost certainly sunk his confidence, which he needs to be an effecting off-the-bench scorer. I don't loathe MDA as much as most people, but this was a big screw-up and it was on him. (Then again it's not like he had a cupboard full of guards to choose from, and Shump got hurt in his first game.)

New Rule:

If Shumpert hints at the second coming of Derrick Rose, all bets on handing the keys to Davis are off.

There's a guy who writes for Sheridans site Moke Hamilton...seems like he knows his stuff. Said he heard Baron making good progress and could be back soon but Knicks don't want to say anything and rush it. Seems to jive with what guys like Hahn think. All speculation, but there's hope.

True that. We should still be up significantly against a team like the Wiz, but hey, it could be worse.

Knicks have to take the lead and the Wizards' confidence ASAP if they're going to get the W at the final buzzer.

GO KNICKS.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
