Someone said that the Knicks might not make the playoffs which I initially rolled my eyes at. But we better start getting wins. I didn't realize how close Indiana was to us.

This is not as easy as people would like to think and CB is making mistakes he never makes, which tells me he's struggling to grasp things and to know just what he wants to do. FOLKS THIS IS ALL ABOUT CHEMISTRY!!! PLEASE no more posts about how awful a player is or the coach etc. This is really about the Knicks not having any real chemistry and when you face teams that are in a flow it's easy for things to fall apart for the Knicks right now. Imagine how good this team will be when they are all in synch?

Guys don't know what they're doing out there and we can still compete with the best teams. It's hard to beat the C's who have YEARS together and all kinds of chemistry and experience. Meanwhile the Knicks are stumbling over each other.

thats great if we didn't also choke to all those garbage teams

We will end the season at .500, which at the end of the day will be an improvement from last year.I think we got excited after the miami game and forgot how hard it is to gut your team with a few weeks left.

It shouldn't be so hard to beat the Cavs, Pacers and Pistons. This was a hard fought game and the Knicks lost to a better team. There have been some games since the trade that I don't think there is anyway you can excuse losing when it impacted playoff position.

Knicks played hard, but imploded... other than melo and stat, we have no other player that can get off and NBA shot.. but hey.. role players are easy to replace...

Amare has the worst hands I have seen in a big man..

Billups stumbles and bumbles at the worst possible times.. really, this guy is playing on rollerskates in an oiled fill arena...

I guess it is time to blame dantoni.. right?

Honestly, you can keep melo and amare for all it is worth, keep billups if you must.. but burn the rest of the bums on this team.. every, single player other than the three I mentioned are not NBA rotation material not if you want to win games..

They played hard, but as I said, when you gut your team.. this is what you get..

knicks will be under .500 by the end of the week.

tfk, the bench played ok. toney was confident tonight. did our superstars not get owned when it mattered?

Our stars didn't really get a chance down the stretch. Turnovers by Billups and Douglas. STAT did ahve that airball though. A couple bad 3's. Just sloppy basketball.

the airball was because billups and douglas played catch then gave it to stat with like 8 secs left.

agreed, losing the cavs twice is terrible and should not be excused.

They could lose almost all of their games and probably stay in the 8th seed. The draft pick swap could come into play if Houston can catch Memphis.

rondo had a nice pick of toney D to effectively end any knicks chances. 12 dimes, 2 steals. i'll take him over anything we've got.

its all iso with melo. he gets grumpy when he doesn't touch the ball. he needs to grow up.

It's why amare said guys got to buy in, they are playing the way they have been playing there whole careers..sucks..the ball movement was not there at all

In light of the depressing loss...

That put a smile on my face.

Damn right, Scorebot.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

you got a month...unless nobody is listening to you. in which case, you're time is up. take your defensive guru bro dan dantoni and move back to west virginia. adios!

He is finally feeling the pressure that every other ny coach feels. I don't think Walsh can subdue the frustration of the fans and the media anymore. He didn't do well in Phoenix when his ways were questioned. It will be interesting to see how he responds.

i just don't see how its fair to mda to fire him. For what? that would be a typical new york thing to do.
the knicks will more than likely finish at .500 and make the playoffs. lets see what they do.
also lets give him a full year with this new team and see what happens. It's not like he's saying don't play defense

Can you guarantee that? Can you put money into that considering how much of a freaking unreal mess we are? This isn't "we can't get up to play bad teams". This isn't "the contenders have been together longer than us" crap. This is a team that is so horrible on both ends of the floor at different times that their only consistency is finding ways to lose.

You have them playing without energy against bad teams, only to come back and end up losing. You have them leading a bad team until the final quarter and losing. You have them leading a contender and becoming a mess when it matters most and losing again.

You really think they will go 6-6 in the final stretch? Im sorry but sadly I don't see it anymore. There isn't a comfort game with this team. Anybody can beat us and they do it in every possible way. We are lucky to be in a messed up bottom half Eastern Conference and yet if we can't find a way to win a game anymore, we might not make it to the playoffs. Yeah, doomsday scenario you might think, but this team has lost 6 out of 7 and seem they can only win when one of their guards has a career shooting night.
