I agree. I just don't know who the coach would play. Did you have any guys in mind that might fit with the coach?

Mike would play a real C who has game. He's playing guys now that aren't any good and we suffer for it. If we even had a guy like Dalembert I believe he would play him gladly. He was willing to play Mosgov and he's not even as good as Dalembert.

This loss tho was very avoidable. It's not that we aren't good enough to beat these teams. We're just clearly out of synch. You see it on offense and on D. This thing is gonna take more time. The parts are coming together yet. The effort is also inconsistent. IMO it seems like there are too many issues for Mike to fix all at once and it's getting the better of him and the players. This is why I was predicting 17-20 games would be needed to work out all the kinks.

I think if he agrees to play Dalembert than Walsh should do whatever he can to get him.

0-6 against sub-.500 teams

Yeah, D'Antoni is a God! He deserves 10 years to figure this out! Rock star!

Don't fret, there's always tomorrow night

The 0-6 against sub .500 teams is startling... Especially because two of those are against the Cavs

They gave up 100 points but they played very good defense today. They did the best they could against Delfino, Salmons and Mbah-Moute. Those guys are just really talented players and they will get their points. It wasn't meant to be today.

Awesome Antoni impersonation. You missed the part about how the only reason the Knicks lost was because their shots weren't falling.

The shots were indeed not falling in the first quarter. Give credit to the Bucks for their good defense too. There was just a lid on the basket. That's not the fault of anyone, besides maybe the basketball hoop itself. We'll move on from this quickly and get ready for Boston next. We'll be alright.

I said it before. We have to put to all together. the first qtr was complete horse crap. A lot of the same no effort D, but with awful shooting added in. We outplayed them for the most part the final 3 qrtrs. We need to put it all together.

Melo played a good game. He got his points in the flow of the offense. Was very efficient. Played decent D again.

Amare didn't shoot well. I think he was gassed after actually making an effort to get tough boards.

Billups started playing well.

Offense sputtering. People still haven't figured it out.

The Knicks simply have to come out of the gate with the effort they came out with in the 2nd qtr.

Would he play a guy like Perkins more than 15 MPG? I really wonder, and that's what scares me.

Hmmm... So a team with no official "stars," and no bench play at all today, can beat a Knicks team with 2.5 stars.

Don't teams like the Bucks know they are supposed to tremble and crumble when they are confronted by our big three?

If we go on a 12-1 run, we'll equal the pre-trade team's record after 28 games.

so now the pre- trade knicks are the benchmark for this team? wow.. haha

I think it's really overblown that he won't play a GOOD C if he had one. The guys we have aren't getting it done, what do you want him to do? We haven't really had a guy that stepped in and said this job is mine and i'm gonna play balls to the wall and force him to play me. That kind of C is gonna play. You think if a guy is rebounding and defending, Mike won't play him major minutes???? COME ON! Who do we have that does that that we haven't been playing?

Anyone notice how lost we've looked on offense since the return of Billups?

It's almost like they don't know what to do out there anymore. When Douglas was starting, it was beautiful because the offense would run through Melo and/or Amare and it simple and very effective. Now with Billups out there, it's almost like we have another guy out there trying to get his own and our guys seem to get confused on who should get the touches. The result is no rhythm whatsoever and it shows out there as there are stretches where Amare doesn't see the ball and/or Melo doesn't get involved.

Big issue that needs to be solved before the playoffs.

I'm not trying to be sanguine, just stating the fact. 13 games is not a lot of time.

However, even the biggest pessimist knows 0-6 against below .500 talent is not the best this team is capable of.

We'll be alright... like we are and have been in the second half of the season...

Fans that are still fine with this team's performance are either kool-aid drunk or really don't care anymore.
