Man, they took a look at Hill and said no give us Lee. Wow, I thought that Lee could be used in a S&T for future picks. Now he is value is to be only a part of getting rid of Jeffries contract with ONLY 1 year left on it along with picks. Something doesn't seem right about this.

they know how desperate we are and they are holding us over a barrel.

at least we know donnie won't cave.

the only way i'd even ask david if he'd go to sacramento is if the kings were taking jeffries AND curry.

It's called, everyone is trying to screw the Knicks...Houston screwed them now, Sacramento is going to try.

This is depressing.

They dont want Jefferies and have no intention of actually making a deal with us. Some people just dont want to let it sink in.

This is why they are asking for all this extra stuff.

Yeah, everyone is trying to screw us, but guess what, we're not screwed. We still have some capspace. Not one free agent said they'd only go to a team if another max player went. We still have picks, and if we get one or none, then we'll have a shot at 'Melo next season, and there will be none of this pity drama to go with it.

right, they'll make a deal if we BOWL them over. but not otherwise.

if the knicks want tmac, they should offer hughes and harrington. there's no way we're ditching jeffries.

I didn't see the game, but what did he do? Play horrible defense?

Okay so ESPN says Giddens House and Walker for Nate and a second player....who's the second? Landry or someone incoming from somewhere else?

How funny it was when Walsh was hired that people were saying that making deals will be so more easier because people around the league like Walsh and hated Isiah. Hmmm....

you think we posters are the only ones listening to all the lebron to ny rumors...gm's out there know this too. so, why would they try to help the knicks w their plan? they dont. in fact, the knicks have so little to offer in terms of assets other than expiring, i'm surprised teams are even taking donnie's calls still - looks like donnie is getting played left and right....

They don't have to say it, it's the reality. We didn't waste 2 years to re-sign David Lee or sign Gay. If you really think someone like Carmelo will leave his team to come play with Gallo and Chandler then I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. It's now or never.

Lets see what is more import to a REBUILDING team.

A) 7 million off the salary cap
B) 7 million in additional salary

Im going to go with A.

There is no reason to make the deal unless you ditch Jeffries. Most recent update I saw was trade is being discussed without the picks on realgm.

They're not signing anybody this offseason, so whats the difference in waiting a few more months?

If his defense was that bad, I wouldn't be opposed to benching him. That's for certain. However, to bench him the rest of the year? That's ridonkulous.

That line was definitely a classic.

Walsh: We have decided to meet your demands for T-Mac
Morey: Oh you have? Well I was thinking it over and I decided I rather have Gallinari and you can keep the picks
Walsh: But you said....
Morey: That was then this is now. Let me know. Tick Tock Tick Tock

He did it to Nate for considerably less. If we're gunna be a petty franchise, might as well go all in right?
