You really think we're getting shut out in free agency? I just can't see it. Once these free agents come visit New York, it's all over. You know Donnie Walsh and co. will get the entire city on the recruiting pitch. We're not the Milwaukee Bucks. You underestimate the power and draw of New York.

i don't doubt we'll get SOMETHING in free agency this year... i just can't be 100% positive that we're getting Lebron & Wade/Bosh/Amare this offseason... sorry but if we end up with consolation prizes like Joe Johnson & Carlos Boozer this summer, i'm gonna be plenty pissed about it... we gave up all these assets for 1 name & 1 name only, & that's Lebron James... anything less at this point is a complete failure... we weren't all in before, but we're damn sure all in now.

Yup. We made a deal as if we actually traded for LeBron. We have no cushion, unless we're the single worst team in the league AAAAAAAAAAAND win the lotto.

It is better than letting him just walk. Nate did give a limited list of teams that he would not veto the trade to.

ur right, House, Giddens, Walker & a conditional 2nd rounder is better than nothing... i'm not gonna kill this trade, but i would much rather have just let them keep Gidden & Walker & just taken their 1st round pick

Boston send New York a package that included guard Eddie House.
