of course.. I was one of the few that still wanted him here..

never really wanted him to leave but Dolan was clearly sticking w/Isiah & Isiah was clearly sticking with Marbs at the time, so Larry had to go... it was an untenable situation.

he's really done a terrific job w/the Bobcats in a short time... wish we could say the same about MDA this season.

I don't think our coach was good last yr either. Two yrs in a row he's run Duhon into the ground. Effries is a breath away from going down permanently. He's hell bent on coaching via touch sense, in other words by feel. I could go on and on where he's failing this team. Yes our roster is highly questionable but no more so than other teams who are getting a lot out of their with similar or worse circumstances.

All LB needed was 1-2yrs to see real TEAM PROGRESS and not 1 or 2 individuals progress. I know we'd be a better defensive team for sure. And D'AnToni doesn't get credit for getting our PPA down this yr from last yr because it's was a direct result of change of pace, we're still defensively a wreck and the thrashing by the T-Pups proved it tonight.

Jordan Hill needs to do a better job of controlling the balls when he's fighting for the rebounds... he puts forth a great effort trying to get at them but he has a problem holding onto them... at least he did collect 3 offensive rebounds in only 13 minutes (4 total)... if this kid got regular starters minutes he'd be putting up good rebounding totals every night just based off his effort alone.

David Lee was not boxing out like he usually does, he looked flat but he was knocking down his midrange J's... didn't finish as well as he usually does either... Fishlips & Wilson didn't box out their men either... i'm actually shocked to see Gallo collected 3 offensive bounds, didn't seem like he was playing with much energy at all to me tonight.

- Not much boxing out by anyone in the NBA- Clyde always points it out and he is right. I'm never surprised when it is not done.

-Gallinari's legs looked shot- all upper body, no legs on his jumper as far as I could see. He needs to look at taking some midrange shots when his legs are not giving him any lift.

They tried to come out with energy at the start- probably hoping that Minny would give up early- but it they did not have enough in the tank, the Timberwolves played with with some hunger this time, unlike their game against us the other day.

i agree, i haven't been overly impressed by what MDA's done as our head coach, but i'm hoping there's better things to come... i've always thought he was a good coach, but his rotations this year have left me scratching my head... the only explanation i can think of is that he's trying to pump up Fishlips & Bender's trade values so he can use them as pieces in a trade, otherwise he's just playing favorites & not really concerned w/playing the best players on the roster... i guess we'll see which is the case after Feb. 18th

yea.. LB really didn't play favorites or let guys do what they want... I really would like to have seen how he would have developed gallo, hill and chandler.... I doubt LB would put up with duhon's mess and Al harrington's volume shooting... He at one point was all over felton and even benched DJ augustine.. both guys are better for the dicispline.. constuctive discipline..

Gerald Wallace has really blossomed into a nice player under his tutorlage... i think Larry could have done a great job w/Wilson Chandler, but we most likely would not have drafted Gallo or Jordan Hill... we probably would have drafted DJ Augustine in '08 & Demar Derozan in '09... & i would assume David Lee would be playing better defense cuz of how much he stressed that part of the game... i think Nate woulda been traded by now if Larry was still the head coach too & we wouldn't have had to deal with Marbury's distraction if only Isiah had sided with LB instead... overall i'd say we'd be better off if LB had stayed & Marbury was shown the door, but only if Isiah were fired & replaced by Donnie Walsh.

Actually none of that would have happened because I'm positive our draft position would have been different. But say LB was hired by Dub instead of Pringles, we would have drafted D.J. Augustin(6), Terrence Williams(8), Dejuan Blair(29) those are all the players the Bobcats wanted if they had our picks.

good point there... and that is fine, as long as we have some good young players being developed properly, I would have been Ok with it..

i can buy that too... Terrence Williams & Dejuan Blair are definitely LB type players no doubt.

Well we are better than the Nets
I feel your pain dude, loved LB and always defended him. I even created a off topics thread on how well the bobcats are doing. Plan to go catch a game in Feb. But I am willing to let MDA do his thiung, too early to dump him. The bobcats have a lot of talent.

IMO they're playing great for the amount of talent they have on the squad... LB is getting the most out of those guys & G Wallace is having his best season ever... D Lee has blossomed under MDA too but the team is still losing to ****ty ass teams... not gonna hate on MDA but u gotta be crazy not to acknowledge the job LB has done in just a very short time in Charlotte.

Even after they got Sjax, CHA lost to the NETS... gave them win #1. They lose to ****ty teams too. Got blown out at Detroit just like we did. Lost in Indiana too.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Probably the same thing that will happen to the Grizzlies if they even get there

They have beat Cleveland 2 times, they beat Memphis, Rockets, Spurs, Suns in consecutive games and about 4-5 other teams with winning records.
