we are doing well, imho.

it's a process of confidence building.

now, if the bulls win, it's a setback.

win, confidence goes up that much more.

hence why to me this is a big game.

maybe the biggest in years.

now you're just getting carried away...

when i say biggest, i mean that this is a period of whether the team builds on the idea they are good or not.

carried away...if you are a good team...yes

but for the knicks, this is part of the process of getting out of the mindset that you are a bottom team in the league.

to me, that's why it's maybe the biggest game in years.

we have not had a stretch like this since we were good, so the idea of confidence, self-efficacy, is hugely important, imho.

it's not that the team has turned the corner, but this was usually a game we lose over the past decade.

every team in the nba takes big leads and blows them...not 35 points, but they do, and either persevere or falter.

we are persevering more and more.

we'll see what's up, but in the win column no one gives a crap how it came except for obsessive sports fans like us, who look for anything to say, "the greatest" or "a bust," or "choke artist." we relish in that ish...

Six straight HOME wins.

I think "whew!" just about sums it up. No such thing as an easy win 'round these parts.

Whatever, that's what silly Breen said. Suffice it to say, we're on an actual roll and .500 is in sight just ahead.

ah. a night where I don't regret making time to watch a Knicks game.

good stuff down the stretch.

next: finding someone who..during a run like the bulls were having..can say i'm scoring or getting fouled..and succeed

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

For a post-game treat, I would like to have Jill mic'd up for her flirtation session with Hugh. Now THAT'S entertainment.

Go Lee. Hitting those midrange Js.

We need a guy with a killer instinct out there.

Also, I'm really starting to question the short rotation. We have a pretty soft schedule up until the Break and I'm wondering if it'll come back to bite our asses come March.

nate who?

see...

that's what wins do, even if the lead is blown...it's a WIN.

Crazy fans like us will find something to complain about...effing whoever blew it! X player sucks and is why we blew the lead! X team is a joke we should win by 120!

okay, i'm exaggerating, but I think our team, who is not hugely confident, based on history, stepped up enough to win. Maybe we got slightly lucky (or something else?) but often we would be vulnerable to such games and lose. rose was killing it...amazing player, but we persevered.

no way would the knicks you hate and never love of the 00's win this game.

I am really starting to look forward to watching games. With the boys playing D, Fishlips smacking the rock outta suckas hands, Lee hitting Js and grabbing bounds, and Gallo sinking those sweet strokes...

This team is getting exciting to watch.
