score vs shoot... points come but shooters affect how defense play...and Al is not a guard

Once Nate comes back, MDA should start Douglas and Hughes and let Nate backup pg position. Duhon should get no more than 5 minutes a game.

Nobody can say that Duhon is not "earning" those minutes, either. ,

I thought he had some good moments for us last year, but for whatever the reason, he does not seem to be able to play the game, anymore, and does not seem to have the heart, or ability, to step up his game.

He is making it VERY easy for MDA to make the change. Do it now so he does not have time to have a decent game that MDA can use to justify keeping him in the rotations.

Watching the replay of the game now Cooch. Chandler looks great. I can't believe he ends up with a -21 +/-

Still in the 3rd quarter, but we're getting outclassed by their star players. It takes so much effort for our guys to score and then Joe Johnson, Josh Smith, Horford, Crawford, they can just score whenever they want.

Crawford's shooting 49% from the field for the year? Wow.

Regarding Douglas, he did a better job in the SL of showing point guard skills. Hopefully those are still in there somewhere. Like I said before, its fool's gold to have a guy who's supposed to be your point guard not able to initiate offense for other players no matter what he's scoring.

Nothing's happening that would dissuade me from the opinion that he's going to be best utilized as the first guard off the bench once this team is fully constructed. That should not hurt anyone's feelings. That's just what a 6'1" combo guard is usually, and the only reason why Douglas wouldn't be for us is because we lack someone who can be a legit starting point.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Unfortunately, he was playing the 2 guard for most of the night. Like someone else posted, Dudu and Hughes was running the point for most of the night. He did his job as a defensive 2 guard.

Anyone else notice I believe on two occasions where Douglas set up a nice little pick/screen for Gallo to get off a 3? I hope those 2 continue to develop chemistry. And that Chris Duhon retires. Today.

Yeah I see that. Pretty much have 3 guys who can't really do what is required of the offense now though.

That's why you get all the bad shots. Al is basically in a position where he has to try to make something happen on his own if he's not set up by the point, whoever it is.

I would try running a 3/4 court press defense when Nate comes back. For stretches of the game you could put these guys on the floor and have them try to create offense that way.

Nate/Douglas/Hughes/Chandler/Jeffries

Its about as crazy as that zone we played against Utah, but nothing else is working.

Doing the stats for last 5 games brings Buddinger up to number 4 and drops Hill to 19
