And from what I remember, he hit 3-4 free throws down the stretch, so that's not a bad job. Like I said, blame the rest of the team. And how about Duhon making that pass in the first place? It's always the passers fault.

I know people here tend to have an agenda and want to prove a point about Lee, but come on.

On the positive side, we're not too far from plummeting past Toronto for ping pongs.

Moral victory #59. We had the heat right where we wanted them. But we let them off the hook. They are who we thought they were.

Dennis Green can relate to the Knicks tonight.

If you wanna crown 'em, then crown their asses.

Lee kept us in the game. Yeah, he should have rolled and yeah, he missed one single free throw, but he did pretty much everything else that was good. Him and Hughes. Everyone else played like crap. Lets not blame Lee here. Nate acted like Nate in his rookie season. Harrington dissapeared. Chandler dissapeared. This wasn't a choke job by Lee. It was a choke job by the team.

Please. O'Neal owned Lee for most of the game. Let's not make Lee out here to be the saviour either. He choked his free throw and came out of a time out on what appears to be a set up play and maybe tried to freelance because he believe they needed a three vs. him going to hole. LOL blaming Chandler for disappearing. The coach took the guy out when Wade got hit. I guess for Hughes to match up with Wade as that was their main concern at the time. Lee played a great 3 mins but wasn't a factor in the game for the most part and fell apart like everyone else in the final minute.

I agree on the free throws but I am so tired of Nate antics and our lack of perimeter defense. Every wing get wherever he wants to go. Lee is going to get paid you can trash him all you want I dont care. He will get paid and you can trash him for five more years.

First of all, don't you EVER trash Ewing. He would tell your pansy ass boy-boy to man up and play some D and put a damn hand up and stop worrying about getting a double double (stat padder). Secondly, this team is 11 games under .500 and in spite of all his double-doubles, he may care and work hard, but all YOU CARE ABOUT is him getting a contract. Which, quite frankly, no one who is a Knicks fan really cares about right now. They care about the TEAM. Not just ONE player that consistently have to come and publicly defend to a bunch of strangers.

You don't care about this team. If it means SIGNING LEE for 5 years and TRADING him, where do I sign -just so you will shut the hell up already.

And Nate can take his antics and disrespect for the game and GTFO too. The passion of the Nate is just so misguided.

Yes. Lee is more worried about padding the stats than even attempting to play defense. This is true.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I am not comparing Lee to ewing. Wade is better than Ewing if you want to argue Ewing is Better than Rick Barry then we can argue. You want to trash Lee in the fourth quarter for missing a free throw and since we were down threee going to set a screen for Larry man instead or rolling go ahead. WHAT WAS NATE IN THE FOURTH QUARTER TONIGHT?

This game proved how important a leader is. This is the type of game where a true superstar could have helped the Knicks win and hold their composure. That is what players like LeBron, Wade and Kobe do they give composure to a team that might be ready to fold.

All I want this team to do is win and play hard and play smart and play as a team. Doig Lee defense every perimeter player goes crazy on us.

What the **** does Ewing have to do with Wade or anything happened with this game. No Knick fan would pick this game to somehow find a way to trash Ewing. That sir, is why we are politely asking you to shut the **** up.

Nate was bad. Lee had a good 3 mins and then he went just as bad. I still can't believe you can come out of a timeout and are confuse what play is being run. I am blaming Lee but maybe it was Duhon's fault. Although Lee says he was trying to free someone up for a better shot so it sounds like he was freelancing. Maybe D'Antoni is to blame for not making sure his players execute a set up play in the final minutes as I complained about previously.

Queenie I respect Ewing and think he is great. I just think before it is done Wade will have three rings and be special also. I just get mad when people who claim they know basketball want to blame this game on Lee when Nate who cant guard anyone goes 0/8 in the fourth quarter.

This is true. Although, Lebron seems to fluster in spots like these too his talent makes up for it. Wade and Kobe really shine in spots like these. I can't believe this late in the season and the Knicks still are unsure who is suppose to take the last shot. This shot by committee stuff doesn't work.

Whenever the Knicks lose a heart breaker people need to go back to the winning past. There is absolutely no correlation between Wade and Ewing.

He thought the roll wasnt open so he went to go screen because they needed a three put that on Lee. He had 8/5 in the fourth and Nate was 0/8. I am just tired of us playing so stupid I dont care if a team is better. Yes I was trying to get a rise out of Knicks fans because every game Lee get trashed and that is personal to me. There isnt anyone on the team that works harder and wants to be in new york more than him.

All I know is that if this was the Suns and D'Antoni was coaching Nash would have gotten a very good shot off.

Yeah, Nash is a go to guy. The Knicks don't have that right now. That sequence between Duhon and Hughes passing that ball like it was on fire was digusting.
