There are rumblings that the Dallas Mavericks are emerging as the third team in the negotiations between the Knicks and Clippers. In a quick glance at the salaries, there are a couple of names that would have to be involved. (Zach Randolph and Jerry Stackhouse). Now, with Camby and Kaman clashing together in Los Angeles, could the Camby Man be involved?

This trade succeeded in the RealGM Trade Machine, what do you guys think?

NYK receives: Jerry Stackhouse, Marcus Camby

DAL receives: Zach Randolph

LAC receives: Josh Howard, Mardy Collins

If its Josh Howard we'd be ending up with the best player in the deal

and also shedding our contracts for 2010....HOLY COW I WOULD RUN THROUGH THE CITY NAKED IF THIS HAPPENED

While I'm glad that we're getting Al Harrington and all that he brings to the table, I'm sorry to see Jamal go. He looks like he was finally starting to get into the groove of D'Antoni's new system.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

DEFINITELY better than Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley, that's for certain.

But now I want Josh Howard coming here, lol

This happened sooner than I thought. I fully expected to see teams look at making deals with us once we showed we could play and they realized we weren't desperate. We're actually making deals from an even keel as opposed to being a laughing stock. Then you add that every year there are teams that don't start off as well as they expected and that's when deals happen. They're the ones getting desperate, meanwhile we could keep going just as we have and be OK this year. So my feeling is that teams started calling us looking to make a deal.

Now to those who bashed him early, do you guys believe in Donnie?

Who bashed Donnie? Is taking a critical and thoughtful approach to every member of the organization "bashing", as opposed to being rah-rah about every sneeze?

It is very early for the "I told you so" bit.

I see the Crawford-Harrington deal is official but I've yet to read a report stating the final detalis. Everybody is waiting for the press conference. I still have hopes that we get a prospect or a pick with the trade.

I'm just saying that when many of us were saying be patient, there were a lot of guys calling Walsh an old out of touch guy that sits on deals and blows them by being too patient. Others of us were saying that he wanted to wait until the team got a chance to play and since we saw the team get off to a good start it sped up the process that we expected Donnie wanted to use. Allow MDA time to get the team playing well and raise the value or at least the teams trading position, so we can get the deal we want rather than take a crap deal we didn't want.

I'm not going to be silent this year so get used to it. I've been told that I was wrong about many things and yet We saw that the players we have could actually be coached to play better and now we have our prospects for getting under the cap improved, with a chance to see them improve even more if the Zach trade goes thru. Why should I be humble now? I'm CROWIN baby. BLOWING my own horn loud and clear. I haven't had much to defend my position over the years until now so let me have my moment in the sun.

GO KNICKS!!!

Wow Nixluva, Crawford for Harrington and your blowing your horn

Now if your talking:

Knicks get Stackhouse and Howard - Mavericks get Collins and Randolf - Knicks buy out Marbury - Mavericks cut Collins and sign Marbury INSANE!! Blow baby, blow

he reason you're so surprised is because you always discount the personality factor. A lot of these proposed deals include lockerroom distractions. Lockeroom distractions aren't easily resolved with coaching.
