That haircut is messing up Jordan's court vision.

Jerry lewis haircut.

When are the Jerry's kids going to get their cut of the cash? Jerry, the kids want to know where you are hiding the cash.

yikes

Jamal Crawford will never start point on a winning NBA team.

Marbury is still NY's best lead guard

oy!

Thats what people said about Billups and Jason Terry.

and Crawford is neither.

Terry did not get respect until he joined the Mavs. Which is not just a good team but it also has a good coach. Jamal could very well be just like Terry or better if he was on the Mavs with their system and coaching staff. Or do you think Isiah is that good of a coach?

Jamal Crawford would play the Jerry Stackhouse role if he were on the Mavs - a wild card. play him if he's hot. sit him if he is cold.

he and Terry are not similar at all. Terry can find his shot in the flow of an offense. asking Crawford to go a possession without seeing the ball is like asking Curry to go a week without seeing McDonalds

Please. Did watch Terry before he joined the Mavs? You don't know what role Jamal would play. Terry was turned into a 2 guard before he left the Hawks. When he joined the Mavs he returned back to the pg. Don Nelson and Johnson could bring out the best in Jamal. I guess you forgot the Jason Terry that would go down court on the Hawks and fake out his teammates? I guess you forgot Terry the player that would run a 1 on 3 by his dam self? Tony Parker would also be a out of control player but he had Pop and great players around him.

was Terry selfish in Atlanta? yes. Is Crawford's problem selfishness or is it thats the only way he knows how to play. Larry Brown couldn't get a 2 week stretch out of Crawford...Pop is? When NY started winning under Brown it was with the Marbury-Nate starting backcourt. And what does Tony Parker have to do with this anyway?
Larry started winning when Marbury and Nate were in backcourt? What year are you talking about? We won 23 games. Pop helped Tony Parkers game you forgot? When Tony use to play out of control Pop would sit him down and talk to him instruct him along with his 10 other assistant coaches. You are bring Larry Brown like that is a good thing. There were no players that were productive under Larry except Frye. So I don't know why you would use that as an example.

the January stretch before injuries sunk the team. And Tony Parker at no point in his career ever came down court, crossed his man 27 feet from the basket and shot an off-balance 3 pointer. you're bound to get those at least twice a game from Crawford. Parker use to play too fast, Crawford is just plain reckless.

Pop coached Tony in how to use his speed.

Unless you are going to totally reign him in and stop him from shooting, how do you coach Jamal's approach to the game? And if he is not shooting, what other way does he considtently look to impact the game?

Another alarm not about the outcome or the point differential but about the defense. This team sucks so much at defense that its sad...

NY's first 10 possessins after the half:

1 shot for Curry b/4 he went out and zero for Randolph.

nothing thru the bigs where the advantage is and a 1 point deficit became 11 points.

*10 point bonus: 1st possession after the break - turnover Crawford (#4 on the evening) 5 seconds into the 3rd

Tony's speed is the main reason he is unstoppable. I like the way you are down playing Tony's man attribute to his scoring which is speed not passing. Pop also got Parker to not shoot so many jumpers. He got Parker to drive until he develop a real shot. This is the main thing Jamal can improve on. Driving and shooting. As far as Jamal's impact on the game. If Jamal is not scoring he can pass or get steals in the passing lanes. I can' believe you are miniumizing Pops contributions to Tony's development. If you were to tell Tony Parker that Pop only help him with is speed he would laugh in your face. Tony Parker went from shooting 41% to like to 50% in shooting because the majority of his shots are drives or foul line jumpshots. Compared to when he first got into the league where he just want to shoot.

I'm not minimizing anything as far as Pop and Tony. Pop coached him in using his speed on the court now Tony creates offense using his speed.

I'm still mystified in what Tony Parker who is very much a lead guard with or without Pop has to do with Jamal and his ability to run a team.

Can't deny that this is not a good showing for our team. At some point we will need to see real results in the standings, but it is pre-season so you don't want to over-react either.

Can't dismiss the performance in this and the Boston game (which I didn't see...did we need to?), but we'll see what happens when the real games come. I don't think Zeke will be given anywhere near as much slack this season if we do actually play like this for long (not that I expect that).

I'm still hoping that we are able to get things together because there are some signs of that possibly happening

I've already seen enough. The New York Knicks are a goddamn joke and my only hope is that they are so bad this year that Isiah gets fired and a competent GM is brought in. I know there are going to be the usual suspects to tell me:
"it's only preseason"
"this team hasn't meshed yet"
"injuries have killed this team so far"

I don't want to hear it, I've seen the same **** over and over again since Isiah the Snake Thomas has taken over and I'm sick of it. I'm just sick of the **** that I have to watch as a Knick fan 82 games of every year. It's absolutely ****ing pathetic.

Peace out Isiah.

Preach, man! This team does suck. And thats the best we can hope for: Isiah fired and a real GM and a real coach come here to build something that does makes sense...

My thoughts on tonight game
1. Lee was awful looked like he didnt even want to be there
2. Our perimeter defense was terrbile
3. Curry and Zach cant guard anyone
4. Marbury showed what he was about sitting out tonight
5. Isiah has no idea what he is doing rotation wise
6. Love Chandler and he will be good someday.
7. Team has no identity or purpose have no idea what to expect

Yes, and we're still meshing. Q and Crawford have only been on the same team together for 3 years.

Looks like this will be a significant improvement over last night. The Knicks will only lose by 20, instead of 40.

Kinda like our 33 win season a big improvement over the 22 win one.

I am not losing hope, I want to give this team a chance and I came into pre season very optimistic. After these two games, I have some doubts... Mainly with who is running this team. I think Isiah is in over his head at this point and dolan is to stupid and now too occupied with legal matters to even fire this guy... I really hate it for guys like lee, chandler, marty and even balkman, they deserve better..
