I'm still trying to figure out that tech earlier on Curry. I'm beginning to wonder if Jerry Sloan and one of the refs share a wife??

Why not just call an offensive foul why give the Jazz a free throw and not the ball? Does that make any sense?

The Knicks should have won despite the refs.

However, I haven't seen home-cooking like that in a fair piece. And it wasn't just at the end of the game. It was steady home cooking all the way through, like the 2 consecutive Carry/travel calls on Crawford. If you put your hand underneath the ball it isn't a carry until you put the ball back down on the floor. The second travel was not a travel but in fact a foul and Crawford still did not travel.

Let's hope the pendulum swings our way a couple of times.

i'm more concerned about this offense and how isiah's freezing out some players on this roster.

Isiah sucked tonight...The three guard lineup was able to run the lead to 10 pts but it was fouls gold...he didn't stick with it but brought back the normal line up and offense at a critical time in the game..There was no room for error...Steph has to run the team period...None of these guys have a hear to run this team except Steph...NONE...

What a game. Knicks played pretty damn well tonight, rough way to lose a game because I thought the Knicks just played really solid all-around, especially Steve Francis. If he is really back to his old ways, the Knicks WILL put together a playoff run and putup a damn good fight in the 1st round of the playoffs. Good win, good to Stevie back(13pts 7rebs) and playing like his old-self.

Like I said, rough way to lose a game but you gotta like the way the Knicks played, the Jazz are a good team and tough to beat in their building. We needed this game with the Lakers coming up. Kobe's gonna be pissed about his previous suspension and take it out on the Knicks, plus they got Odom back, gonna be a tough game.

myth, I agree that the refs aren't going to be perfect and you have to overcome that, but come on. Tonight was ridiculous. We still should have closed it, but can you walk away from this saying the ref's tried their best to call this game fairly?

You can't ever blame a game on the refs. Sometimes you get ridiculous calls, sometimes the calls against you are ridiculous. You have to expect that and be able to rise above it. You can't go into a game thinking "okay, we have enough talent to win this, but ONLY if every call is 100% accurate... we just don't have what it takes to overcome if one or two calls are off"

- Not a single foul was called in the 2:30 that it took for the Jazz to go from 10 down to 1 up late in the 4th quarter

- Knicks had 25 fouls, Jazz had 23

- Knicks shot 27 free throws, Jazz shot 27 free throws

Were there bad calls? Probably on both sides

Were there missed calls? Probably on both sides

Were the refs the reason why the Knicks lost? Hell no

1. No, pretty sure you say "if this game was watched again with a different bunch of zebras the Knicks win by 20 points," not "if this game was watched by different refs you wouldn't be calling the same players trash!"
2. Two or three calls gone a different way wouldn't have magically transformed any players game from a poor performance to a good one. Curry played like trash regardless.

2 You missed the point, that's on you not me. And I couldn't disagree more.

Any performance that could be turned from a great one to a terrible one by a couple calls from the refs wasn't a truly great performance to begin with. Maybe you can go from mediocre to not so good, or mediocre to decent. That's about it.

Tell me, who is it that would have had a good game but was robbed by them damn referees into a trashy one instead?
