Forget about Balkman, it's just about Isiah's HUGE bruised ego.

Well, GA was nothing compared to IT and so he should not be judging IT's decisions. What team has GA managed? What draft pick has GA made under the pressure of the media and an entire city watching his every move? Did GA draft T-Mac? Did GA draft Lee when everyone else said we should have taken Taft or Blanche? Who is GA that he should criticize IT like he has more cred than IT. I am not saying I think IT should have responded. He definitely should not have. But I am not going to bash him b/c GA has not done anything in this league worthy of allowing him to talk down to IT like IT is some idiot.

So now no media journalist can criticize Isiah because they have never been a GM? Since we're not journalists, but we still haven't been GM's, can we criticize him? Because he really has done a crappy job thus far.
Of course people can criticize (even us posters who probably know less than GA), but my point is that GA is a former player that had a marginal career and other than being a journalist, he has not really done anything. For him to make light of IT's decisions and basically say IT is an idiot has to be taken by IT as offensive. IT should have ignored it, but if you were IT and had the basketball career that he had and had the past success that he has had in drafting, you would be a little ticked that some marginal a** player that has never acted as a GM of anything called you out like you were a chump. IT responded in the wrong way, but I fail to see how you think he was wrong for thinking the way he did.
Anthony never called Isiah an idiot. He doubted this one pick like 99% of the free world. I for one in no way shape or form interpreted GA's comments as calling IT an idiot. If IT interprets it that way, maybe it's a case of guilty conscience, who knows. I can agree with the message while disagreeing with how it is delivered, and that is fully the case now.
