The link you put isn't working for me. It just takes me to the page where I would reply to your post. I'll respond after I see what stats you're talking about, but I highly doubt Eddy's rebounding efficiency (once you take into account min. played) is 6th best among centers. I'd bet it's closer to 6th worst among starting centers.

I didn't say he was 6th most efficient I said 7th best center, 7.2 per game minus the powerforwards of the league. Efficiency is a bench players stat because they can't stay on the floor, which is a part of the game.

Then what you are saying is that he's 7th best out of 7 - because everyone after him on the list plays many less minutes. I like what Curry has done this season, but do your really think a guy who averages 7.2 boards in 33 minutes is a good rebounder?

1 rebound every five minutes is awful for a center.

For a center, he is an average rebounder. People try to make it seem like he is terrible, when compared to other 7foot 280 pound men he get's about average. And that is if they can even stay on the floor 30minutes. Plus he is getting better.

Curry's rebounding is a little below average, but that's to be expected when you're playing alongside a human vacuum cleaner like David Lee... he's still giving us 7 bounds a game in 33 minutes, which is low for a guy his size but not abhorrently bad... the main area he needs to improve in is shotblocking... 0.6 blocks per game is not cutting it for a C... the problem is he's so careful to try & stay out of foul trouble, that he isn't as aggressive as he wants to be going after shotblocks... so pick your poison guys... do you want him to be aggressive on defense, or do you want him to stay out of foul trouble so he can stay on the floor & be a presence on offense? he's still learning, & he's still gaining his own reputation w/the refs... once he stops getting ticky tack fouls called against him, he'll be able to get more aggressive on both ends of the floor... but it's going to take more time... patience is the key... some of you guys seem to expect Eddy to be on the level of the elite C's in the game right this minute, & that simply isn't gonna happen... that doesn't mean it won't happen though... again, patience is key.

for me it's not the rebounds so much as the lack of boxing out. If David Lee got all the rebound and the guy Curry is guarding or should be guarding does not, then I would be happy, but that is not happening.

i know what you're talking about martin, cuz i see it too... when Eddy just looks at balls coming off the rim & loses track of the guy he should be boxing out or defending... he goes through those spells of ADD at times... but other times u see him going up aggressively for rebounds & putbacks too, so i think it's something he is still learning how to do... he's like an immoveable object out there... once he learns how to use his size & not get fouls called against him, we're talking 20/10 type #'s easy.
