Stan Van Gundy wuz robbed. Riley coached allright, but this wasn't about coaching. It was about having 1-to-2 players that nobody could stop. As usual, that is what wins NBA championships.

because the Heat probably blame SVG for their loss last season. and they might be right. Shaq hates SVG.

why does Larry get all the credit for the Pistons beating the Heat vs losing this year and the other way around no one questions what SVG did?

you're right. you should start some sort of online petition and go on a hunt to track down the answer to that question.

yup, and the year before that?

get off of it already. lb is a GREAT COACH no matter how many times you say the otherwise.

The year before that the Pistons took advantage of a bunch of injuries (Kmart, Kidd, Tinsely, Artest's meltdown, Karl Malone, etc) and won against a snippy dynasty on the downward spiral.

Larry's a great martyr. As far as coaching, he's good, but Riley is great.

Yup, this win had nothing to do with Riley. Stan Van Gundy did all the work, then Riles swooped in to take all the credit. Stan would have easily added another ring to the four he alread has.

just saying. riley motivates his players. the only people brown motivates is the media. he's really great at generating sympathy. we haven't heard anything about his acid reflux recently, have we? oh that's right, turns out it was just the flu.

um, what? I don't understand what you're saying. the 2004 Lakers were vastly different from the 00-02 Lakers. Shaq has basically come out and said Phil Jax was screwing with him all season, Phil wrote a book about how Kobe ruined the 2004 season, what more do you need? are you seriously saying the 2004 Lakers were a great team?

here's a question: can we finally put to bed this notion that Kobe is the best player on the planet?
