WTF !!! Marbury, is making me so mad right now... even when he plays horrible, he remains an egomaniac. Like he didn't do anything wrong.. and he is the best! Yo, this dude is either crazy or he is stupid.

This interview shows that Marbury's head is not in the game it is somewhere else.

Andreas is not holding back!

"He (Steph) played very hard in the post game. Harder than he played in the game."

Expect Andreas to be fired shortly.

John Andariese with the quote of the night. On Marbury:

He played very hard in the post game interview; a lot harder than he played on the court.

I think I'll sig that.

Here's reason no. 1 that I hate Larry Brown:

the Magic starting lineup had 80pts. The Knicks starting lineup had 20pts. This isn't a fluke either, this is a trend all season.

Start the best players. It's simple. Or at least I thought it was.

Remind me, who exactly is that again?

Let's start with Curry and Frye. Since they're the future of the franchise and all?

Then, here's a crazy idea, how about Crawford, the guy who led us in scoring in 4 of our 7 wins and led 4th quarter charges in two other games.

Marbury obviously has to start as long as he's here, and he is a good player, he's just not going to be our leader.

SF is the problem spot, but I would stick with Ariza unless we get something better in a trade.

G - Marbury
G - Crawford
F - Ariza
F - Frye
C - Curry

I think this is pretty obvious. Even Bill Simmons, the Sports Guy, who never watches the Knicks came up with this lineup in about week 2 of the season. This is hands down our starting lineup. Only a senile old man, or someone who is trying to force a trade, would not start these five.

First problms is it was not obvious how much curry would be able to play. And it's not obvious how much he'll be able to play next game and hasn't been obvious all season.

The other problem is that if those guys play how they've been playing so far - we're not gonna win many games anyway. How many amongst them are even an average starting players:

1) Not Curry - hasn't been able to stay healthy.
2) Frye is great for a rookie, but plays defense like a rookie and isn't a consistent force on the boards or even offensively.
3) Ariza - obviously not.
4) Craw - Is still Craw. I see a slight improvement in shot selection other then that - still makes bad decisions still can't play D.
5) Marbs - Not as bad as his detractors say. But week defensively, not a leader and not good enough to make this a good lineup.

So you have a lineup of guys who are inconsistent on offense and bad on defense. With maybe one guy who at his current skill level, fitness level and knowledge of the game is a starting player on an average NBA team.

Basically we have no good lineup. What Larry should be doing is trying to improve the team not eek out a couple of extra wins over the course of the season. That's what I think he is trying to do. He needs to do whatever he can to get these guys to play better or get better players. Playing the "Best" players without forcing players to improve gets us nothing.

If Marv got fired last year for criticizing the team then I would expect Dolan to give Johnny Hoops the axe as well. ;)

What a horrible call!!!!

Is a commentator gonna say anything about that? GH put his shoulder all the way into his body.

these are the knicks, that doesn't matter to these dickless refs, grant hill could pick up the ball, stand back punch ariza dead in his nuts, run him over, take 4 more steps without dribbling and they would of called a blocking foul on ariza along with a flagrant 1.... This is just the way it is with the knicks..

Curry's basically unguardable. 7'0" Howard didn't have a chance against him on most plays. Curry even had a nice move going LEFT and drawing a foul. Like Briggs said, he just needs to lose weight. If he can do that, he and Frye will be a great PF/C combo.

Does it have any meaning for you that those 5 guys were the major minute getters tonight?

Does it have any meaning for you that they were down by 10 by the time they got in the game? And that they are always down ten by the time they get in the game and they're always playing from behind?

crzy, your point is taken, and other than Steph I don't mind your lineup, I just don't presume it would make all the difference in the world.

Curry is rarely fit to start and JC, Ariza, and Frye are quite weak on D.

But I'm sure it's as good a lineup as the rest.

most likely LOL

actually I think Marbury will be gone first. if no one wants him then something will be done within. It's a shame if he can't give it his all for NY and continues to pout he's not going to get it done anywhere...what a sad humanbeing...I kinda pity him. I hope he retires soon to focus on whatever it is his focus is on at this present time. it's too bad I wanted him off the team 3yrs ago yet he's still around

But will Larry and Steph ever be able to get on the same page.

as he should be, and then he should be kidnapped, drugged, locked in a crate and shipped straight to hell.
