just because he is our best rebounder doesn't mean that he is a PF. That kid is a baller and we both know it, but we can best use his skils and our roster by pluging him in at SF....Lee and Frye seem to have a pretty good chemistry between the two and combine with Curry we could have a pretty pottent mixture...

opposing C's and PF's will abuse Curry and Frye while Lee's rebounding skills is waisted playing against smaller 6-6/6-7 players. With Frye at PF at least you know Lee & Davis are there to rebound

36 points in the 1st for Philly.....Brown must be throwing up

Actually he probably is happy-gives him good teaching aids. He knows this doesn't count except in the minds and hearts of diehard fans

Lee can be our Prince, Frye can definitely be Sheed, and Curry can be an offensive Ben...

and who will keep opposing C's and PF's off the boards? Frye might do a decent job but he'll need help from Lee & Davis. I bet Davis or Lee will start next to Curry

I wonder if Brown asked the refs to call the Knicks extra hard while he took he night off.

The sixers shot out of their minds tonight, so I will ignore the score here, but what i did notice is how well lee and frye pass the ball, tonight craw and frye ran a break resulting in a frye dunk where the ball never touched the floor. It was textbook...

I still like the way the young guys played, they moved the ball, cut, rebounded and defended. ariza was everywhere and curry is unstoppable in the paint...

You may want to check pippen's stats...

Man, I was all over Danny Granger back in January, I desperately wanted the Knicks to draft him at 7. You could see in college that the guy was going to make an excellent pro, he had all the tools and the body to be an all-star NBA small-forward for years to come. I'm not surprised one bit what he's doing so far.

He had 18 boards against the Knicks in 92...who knows how many points he had. Who knows what his preseason stats were--when Granger does it in a real game that counts I'll be more impressed.

Oh I have no problem with having Frye because he's the perfect fit for this offense but if we're talking about just drafting the best player available then I had Danny Granger extremely high on that list. Just from watching the 2 pre-season games I think Frye is showing us that he's going to be a good pro. I haven't really seen him get out-matched by anyone yet and he also hasn't made any rookie bonehead plays, he's a very smart player so I'm very happy with Channing.

Pippen at one time was considered, arguably, the best player in the NBA...he or our very own Penny Hardaway or Hakeem.

I always thought Pippen was a bit overated, but he was certainly a VERY VERY good player and a GREAT defender.

nice Read. Philly shot their asses off last night. What is Iguadola doing draining 3's? The Fry fastbreak was pretty.

The hustler form theyoung guys was there and Marbury seemed to be playing hard D. Curry needs to clog the middle more. Can LB teach him what Skiles, Cartwright and Paxson could not? I hope so.

this game was ridiculous. the refs were calling ticky-tac fouls. i remember seeing multiple times salmons getting the call when he was barely brushed against. for the knicks to get calls they had to be mugged. i bet iverson wish he was in this game. he would have had a parade. i understand that the refs had to call the game close so they rookies are prepared better and set a tone for the regular season but come on. defensively we have tons of work to do. i like how our rookies hustle. frye showed heart by not backing down against lee nailon ( probably bitter he is not a knick anymore). cury wil be good with the right amount of touches. marbury and crawford seemed lethargic. they better get better as a backcourt or there will be changes they could have easily taken agvantage of their speed since they were the fastest players on the court. this is the first preseason game i saw this team play and frankly i am embarassed.
