This is a very valid point. OG needs to either take ballet or yoga similar to what Willie Gault and Hershel Walker. Those dudes were all muscle also and ballet helped them with their flexibility.

That said it would be great to give Kolek some time when maxey sits. (Btw maxey played the entire second half, I believe)

If og is out or hampered I expect to see more of sochan than diawara. A lot will depend on how hart is doing against Paul g.

Yeah this is a fair take and definitely worry for Brown. But man in the few minutes I did see of GTA, he struggled to make entry passes.

He also overdribbles consuming time and disrupting flow and can’t shoot. Id much prefer clarkson or shamet. Clarkson contributes in a lot of ways and shamet brings length and can shoot

I missed the Clarkson minutes too. Was he not effective?

I thought he was effective. He is our only backcourt or wing who can reliably create his own shot (other than Brunson)

He finds a lot of ways to contribute. IIRC he missed a corner 3 and that’s the last I remember seeing him. Maybe brown thinks he’s too slow to stay in front of philly’s guards?

Was just listening to the KFS post game. Apparently Clarkson has not hit a 3 since March 20 so he would be an easy target to do the old Josh Hart leave him defense and collapse and help on KAT/Brunson or anyone.

Well since I’m hopelessly optimistic I’ll take this as a sign he’s due!

That said I wouldn’t put him in for that. If you want 3s play shamet

It’s painful to watch McBride pick his dribble up in the paint, lost or Jose who is clueless w the ball in his hands. Clarkson gets in the paint, puts pressure on the D. Has that push shot floater and keeps his eyes open for lobs and assists.

I don't know how Deuce was a PG in college

If OG can't go then we need to have Diawara start. Similar to what he did the last time OG was out.

Not necessary and I doubt Brown does it. Deuce would start at SG. Shamet comes off the bench.

From KFS dudes, the last time Knicks played Philly with OG out, Shamet started over Deuce.

This just shows on these insiders don’t actually have any real insider info most of the time. They will only report what the team funnels to them.

The problem with that is Shamet hasn’t played well for a long time and is afraid to shoot. It has to be Deuce. Clarkson, Jose and Mitch off the bench. Spot minutes for Shamet if needed.

Knicks won by 6, Maxey played 46:48 and was a plus minus of zero.

Sochan should have played last night. Game one he was "Questionable" given a hammy thing.
But Philly never got big and we played well small to small.

Kolek and Diawa. I understand ths excitement for their futures but Kolek has not played in some time any real minutes and Diawa did come back to earth and did not know where to be on defense at times.

Nice win despite big push by Sixers and our long range shooting a bit off.

JB needed 21 shots to score 19 points (7 free throws). Need that to be better.
Hart headed back to passing open threes. Hopefully goes back to confident shooting.
Towns has to stay away from silly fouls. Needs to have 15 shots per game.
Good to see Bridges and OG continue their good offensive play.
Like to see Clarkson get more than 8 minutes. Think we needed his play making at times.

Think KAT stays out of fouls trouble and we clean things up for an easy win in Game 3!!
Go Knicks!

I'd take the risk and have OG sit out until he's 100%. We can beat the Sixers without him. We should be able to win 2 of the next 5! We need a healthy OG for the ECF and Finals if we get there!
