We shot 27 pct on 3s and won handily. Made lots of bad turnovers. Room for improvement even with a blow out

Me personally I find it very hard to rationalize Thibs continued reliance on Josh Hart. Hart makes so many losing plays during the course of these games and I worry Thibs can't control himself.

Hart & Deuce only negative players tonight --- both scared the hell out of me with ball in hands.

Kat a +26 and again 24 and 13 --- yet still he leaves me screaming at the TV not to foul and not to miss some bunnies.

SO GOOD - SO FRUSTRATING

Lots of folks poo-pooing calls to play Shamet/Wright more but once again respectively they helped grow the lead with Brunson resting.

Thibs has Hart fomo. He’s terrified if he benches him out team won’t get the big 50/50 play it needs to win. Maybe he’s right. Nobody hit the kill shot but Hart got a couple massive buckets to close the game.

I’m not satisfied with how they closed this game though on offense. Too many turnovers once again and nobody was able to hit the kill shot 3. Defense saved us. We won’t be able to play imperfect basketball like this next game.

I'm not agreeing on any Hart compliments, kudos or love - guy is a walking mistake/turnover and bucket for the other team.

Starting with a press on Haliburton at least set a tone that we werent gonna hand him open space to operate like Game 4.

Shamet has applied the best perimeter pressure on the team in past few games and that includes Deuce/OG.

He's firing over screens, turning the ball handler and his (and Wrights) length is helpful vs little rascal TJ.

No death quarters in this game. Our Achilles heel has been the nightmare Q where we get run off the floor. We steadily win each Q tonight.

Barkley just grilled him on those fouls in the post game when KAT joined the TNT guys. He played it off at first ("Why are you making those dumb fouls?" "God only knows") but seemed uncomfortable as they kept pressing it. Admitted it hurts the team and he's got to get better about it.
