I agree this has to be on the table. Probably the best chance we have to get out of KATs contract if we determine his deficiencies are too much to overcome. Durant on paper fills a ton of holes we saw exposed on this team in the playoffs in terms of deep shooting and even ball handling / secondary creation. He would probably be the best #2 option in the league immediately on this roster.

Durant rejected the Knicks for the nets he told the Knicks how he really felt. Kevin Durant is not coming here and he can’t handle the pressure of nyc.

He didn’t want to be a savior and he wouldn’t have to be one. This is Jalen’s team.

This seems like an emotional way to make a business decision to me.

The shady business that royal Ivey and Deandre Jordan did also was bad way doing business. Kevin Durant is a snake that you can’t trust. Don’t think Knicks dump Towns for role players. They might as well keep them. Brunson won’t be able to get to the ECF without a legit #2 and Knicks won’t go backwards just to shed KAT.

Durant is a bit of a kook. He totally bitched out on OKC and they got nothing for him. Went super nova diva and had some snide remarks about Knicks when he could have just kept his trap shut

and I don't see how Durant makes us any less awkward on offense. At the moment, it seems JB/Thibs wants to run a D.Rose or Allen Iverson type of system where one guy takes all the shots; the other guys space and play D.

that approach got exposed by Detroit and Pacers and if we won OKC would have done same.
