I’ll tell you this... if Wall stays healthy, then that’s a pretty nice team the Rockets could have with Wall and probably LeVert, DinWiddie and maybe Allen. Those players are the Nets loss. They kept the team better than when they didn’t have Kyrie!

It's a gamble. The Nets have players who are injury risks and I'd be scared to shave off quality players for one. On the other hand , Harden doesn't miss games.

Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right. - The Tick

If Houston was looking for star power in return, the Knicks weren't seriously in the mix anyway.

I'm sorry but if Wall were worth anything, why trade him for Westbrook?

Look, there is no advantage for either team to do this trade at all. Washington thinks they're unloading their fragile PG who is owed a ton of money on a gullible trade partner.

Houston wants to dump Westbrook for similar reasons.

Now if you're Houston, why do you want Wall? IMO, strictly to create the impression that there's a market for Westbrook. But there isn't.

If you are Houston, you don't want to get anchored to yet another albatross contract - you want cap flexibility. Or Wall and a bunch of picks. But so does Washington want sweeteners.

Its a circular firing squad of denial.

Getting nothing from the Knicks is Houston's best deal. Getting Randall is a bonus.

It’s just a dumb move by the rockets. Wall is way past his prime, (by that I mean he barely ever plays). He’s just a name now

The rockets would be better off simply giving Westbrook to the Knicks in a straight up salary dump

Wall hasn’t played in more than 41 games in a season since 2016
