![]() Been super stressed out lately… this whole winter Covid second wave thing has finally caught up to my psyche I guess…
On top of this baskatball practice with my varsity team has been good to Keep my mind busy but the gyms have now also been closed since the beginning of November (which of course is absolutely correct to do! But it sucks big time! I had a super talented team to work with this season!!!) So to not get completely nuts… thanks guys checking out the election in the US has not helped either… I have to say that Im missing really good movies at the Moment... not much there… Ive watched "1917" lately… which really was great but other than that… not much there… any ideas?! Oh and something that my wife and I really started to get into is playing "Exit" games at home… is this something popular in the States as well? |

![]() Finished watching "Picard", liked it. Was surprised that of the two shows, "Picard" and "Discovery". "Discovery" had old school Star Trek storytelling, and Picard was something different. More of a departure from previous series. Liked them both. Impressed how good the CGI is on TV shows these days.

![]() Finished watching a movie from a few years ago. "Attack the Block" Comedy about a group of inner city London kids who try to fight off an alien invasion. Starring John Boyega. Fun movie, great cast.
Not available on US DVDs. Might be on Netflix. |

I might give it a dive on during the holiday. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Its a South Korean big budget disaster movie, called "The Tower". Loose remake of "The Towering Inferno". Fun movie, lots of action. They could have shaved 15 minutes from the pre-disaster part of the film. But other than that, I enjoyed it. Had to watch it in French, didnt know the bluray didnt have english subtitles. I speak french, but it was weird watching a Korean film in French, lol. |

![]() One of the fun parts of living out in the sticks is the frequent power outages. Like now.
Those of you also dealing with frequent outages, this DVD player helps pass the time. You can watch at least a couple of movies on a full charge. And the picture is very good. It also plays all regions, and the screen is pretty big for a portable. |

Loved the string of episodes in season 2 from Meld to the season 2 finale. Just finished Distant Origin. I love the whole premise. Really need to use suspension of disbelief but other than that it was brilliant. Really liking Janeway as well. She is not there for me yet in the rankings but she is very close to Picard and Sisko. |

![]() The Mandalorian S2 has been really rolling with fan service. A show, movie or book the doesn't really become a Star Wars property until I see an actual lightsaber and Mando is delivering. Also, if you like hard sci fi, Raised by Wolves gets a thumbs up. Slow in the beginning, but builds up to WTF by the end of the season. Also, the Expanse starts it's new season soon and I highly recommend it.

Watched them all in order, loved the orginals, the prequals were...okay haha( Revenge of the Sith might be my favorite). Hated the sequels. TFW was okay but it went downhil from there. Really enjoying the Mandalorian though and I'm excited for their new rumored series as well. The Future is Bright!
