Novak and Camby are trash.

Thats not the issue. If we only traded novak and camby it would be fine but we had to give up 3 picks for a guy taht toronto was desperate to get rid of

Toronto doesnt need Novak and Camby. Without the picks Toronto has ZERO incentive to do the deal.

And was almost willing to give up for an expiring in Caron Butler but nope we had to come in and Blank Man this up by telling Masai how about some picks instead...

I gotta be honest there wanst exactly a lot of people knocking on their door to get bargnani. he has never lived up to expectations, he has a questionable work ethic whihc is why toronto hated him , and is very injury prone. I mean there are otehr player i would love the knicks to get for cheaper

Not sure what year or what day it will be...but one day Isiah Thomas won't be running the Knicks. One day folks we just have to finds creative ways to distract ourselves from this train wreckage of mgmt.

Bargs is not just some throw in guy we picked up. This is a guy that can go for 20 on any given night and has proven it. We gave up practically nothing for him. This dude hasn't have any knee surgeries. He had a sore calf in 2011-12 and he hurt his elbow in last year. Those aren't the kind of things you lose sleep over when bringing in a guy. There are injuries and then there are INJURIES that require surgery and rehabilitation. There's every reason to believe he can regain his prior form and be a good scoring big again. If so that is a major plus for NY since he's a threat from anywhere on the floor.

You kinf of answered your own question. he is very injury prone. In fact i think he has missed more games than amare the past few years. Secondly he hanst exactly lived up to expectations even when healthy. he also has a questionable work ethic. When raptor fans thank knick fans for just taken him off their hands thats a problem lol

Stop trolling. Barg is a huge piece of s.... No heart, no D, no rebounding, no FT, poor shooting. How is he a better gallinari? You must be trolling, obviously.

This is exactly people said about Vince Carter before he left Tornto. Just sayin'.....
Can't compare carter to barg. Carter was an all-star type player

Not comparing them as players. Just pointing out that Toronto has a way of eating away at a its player's will to play.

This is the general tone of the users in a raptor fan forum.

"So does Masai deserve to be in raptor hall of fame for getting rid of Bargs and for a package that some of us could not even dream of? Not taking back a bad contract and getting picks I mean we might have a winner hear."

Raptor fans wanted this guy to be amnestied because they knew no team would be stupid enough to give away some value for this guy. The of course thats what teh Knicks always do. Just ask the bulls suns and nuggets. all teams were handcuffed with problems and the knciks offered 3 times as much as any other team would have

Bargs will come to NY with a clean slate. No one will see him as the savior of the franchise and none will care where he was drafted. What we're looking for is a scoring boost, some floor spacing and some added juice to our small ball lineups.

I never wrote that I am just giving you an example of what people on the raptors forums are saying about this trade. Sorry if my post was not clear enough. You can check out some of the posts yourself. I have gone through a ton of pages and have not seen a raptor fan that hates the trade.

Doesn't matter the skill level, many players just don't seem to click there. Remember Hedo and how miraculously found his game after he was traded back to Orlando? With the exception of Carter, how many of Toronto's top picks have actually flourished there. And even Carter got to the point where he felt the need to dog it.

Knicks have no means of improving without making trades like this.

Knicks have no pick next year and a swap the year after. We arent throwing in the towel.

Bargnani will be a 3rd or 4th option at best. He should also benefit from playing next to Melo. No pressure.

Even Zeke isn't sure about this trade!

Of course that could just be a cover if you believe he's pulling the strings at MSG...
