I understand that, but why was this place so awesome through all the losing, the misery, the embarrasment? This season we have some hope(had?) but its getting worse and worse

You want to know why? Because some of us are tired of being called out by people who are always trying to teach us how to be Knicks fans. There are no discussions on the board anymore. There are bunch of people on two sides and every thread is the same tired retread of every other thread. So yeah I have little interst posting here these days. This board is now about analyzing the personality of the posters and not about basketball. Yeah, I am not interested in joining Carmelo Anthony's personal bandwagon. Which is what this board has become - IMO

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

Rooting for the Knicks is akin to what I imagine rooting for the Red Sox was like before 2004.

I'm hopeful our ship will come in one day, in dramatic fashion, as it did for them. But it's become pretty clear that it's not going to happen this season.

Because we all knew that we were a joke back then. This year we expected a lot from this team. To be fair they had a trememndous first 6 weeks of the season. in fact the main reason why wer are still in a top playof spot was because of the great start we had

Mercifully I'm on the road and can't see this game :(. I hope Tyson isn't hurt too bad. This is a horrible game to judge the Knicks on. Denver is young, strong, fast, deep and healthy and Denver is a rough place for an old team to play. Gotta hope Melo n Tyson can get healthy by the End of the season.

Very unhappy with melo
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

So many things went wrong tonite and it all started even before the game when Melo decided to stick it to his old team.
