This isn't playing hoops the right way
your scoring needs to be a little bit less predictable rather than 3-4 knicks trying to get their three(3) point game
going which is fine with Woodson it appears

we could be playing better, but it's not a bad half. Certainly one which can be built upon, Woodson just needs to set it straight.


random side-comment: I wish the Knicks had someone like Sir Alex Ferguson coaching the team, his half time talks are so brutal, yet inspiring and 9 times out of 10 work out, he holds everyone accountable, and not by just saying something, players need to look at themselves and really focus in the 2nd half. Defense and ball movement, get open shots, work from the inside out.

Whats worrying me is that hes getting overly concerned with finding his shot at the expense of some movement. Yeah, we need him to get going but we cant force feed him until it happens.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

The reason is that off bad shots and turnovers off BAD offense has led to a lot of easy buckets and open shots for the Hawks. They can get out and run and get early offense off poor offensive play by the Knicks. Just cuz you're shooting 50% doesn't mean that you're playing consistently good offense.

Problem with you melo lovers is simple: you love pinball players who light up the scoreboard without realizing that in a team game like bball you need to learn how to play FOR others. Melo almost never does. The way you dudes drool over 3 three pointers in a row is shallow....
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Knicks at home are very content with giving the fans a 3pt show as oppose to ball movement
spreading the offense and playing team / individual defense.

Early in season Knicks played right way & I'd say teams didnt want to play them

Now if I'm NBA team I'd love to play knicks in playoffs since they are content on trying to beat you on ISO
or 3 point shots without any desire to draw fouls or get an inside game going to make other team play D.

I don't like what I'm seeing, Hawks a good team but 52-52 has nothing to do with what Knicks does to
enable Hawks a chance to win the game.

The team whom makes adjustments in their game play in 2nd half will win the Game

My point is that we've gotten good shots off quick and accurate ball movement and we've also seen some bad shots off ISO plays with no ball movement. Just cuz Melo takes a 3 doesn't count as an ISO play if it came after good ball movement and a catch and shoot.
