ever since Garnett mentioned honeynut cheerios melo has been havign a tough time. He is a great player but i've noticed that it is very easy to get under his skin and when that happens he plays badly

Sometime Melo can be a momentum killer , he has to dunk the ball not just try and lay it up
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

proof that kg is still in his head

KG 1
Melo 0

a bit overblown.

game isn't over yet. there has to be a better way to use one of the best scorers in the league outside of what we're doing right now.

Rely on Felton's return then give all the Credit to Woodson. Let's face it Woody has no control on the offensive side

melo needs to add the pump fake to his set of moves off a drive to the hoop, he only does it off a postup.

I have said a few times that the loss of Felton has slowed the team for a while, however, the anti-felton crowd refuses to give Felton any credit.

Everyone agrees they miss Felton greatly. Its just scary that we depend on 1 player so much with one of the highest payrolls in the league

It's the system relies on penatration, and 3's, thats the make up of the team and unfortunatly that the key position

So frustrating. Yet Chicago and Indiana get buy without their best players

im not trying to rag on woodson, but thibadeoux is already a top coach in this league and vogel is proving to be a stud in the making. woodson is good, but he's not a top coach, he'll never leave his mark on a team like those 2 guys will.

we spent 4 games in a playoff series repeatedly trying (and failing) to force feed melo in the post. that was when we should have all started suspecting perhaps Woody isn't a master tactician...

You sound silly and uninformed.

who the hell are you?

I love when people resort to the "who are you" ad hominem attacks on message boards. LoL!

If the shoe fits...

My recollection of last years playoffs is all the pg's being injured, Amar'e having one hand and Chandler being flu ridden and lacking anything resembling an offensive game. Thus, my simple questions is, who exactly was Woodson supposed to run the offense through? Also, we were playing the Heat, you know the team that beat the Thunder 4 - 1 in the finals and also had arguably the best and quickest defense in the league... I am all for reasonable criticism of the Knicks but crying about iso Melo last year in the playoffs is simply silly.

absolutely agree with this.. i've wondered for a while why melo always lays it up instead of dunking it.

The team will rely on Melo and Amar'e who continues to improve. Felton just provides penetration which opens up things a bit and allows for a few easier buckets a game.
