Yea, it was on Stat!..Just kidding, we cant shoot like that and we need to cut the turnovers.

Honestly guys, id rather have lost this game and win on Sunday. The streak had to end and im happy it was against the sh!tty Hornets. Now I hope this all calms down a bit and the team refocuses on Bball and not some dude's couch...

But if he played a tad of defense tonight it would be the difference in this Hornets/Knicks outcome

Too many of Hornets F/PF or bigs coming around basket without any resistance from anyone other than
C - Tyson Chandler or Jared when he's in the game.

Granted Amare gets boards tonite
he does not play D and his D' is worse than Carmelo's

how bout the 10 miss FT's and the 21 TO'S..

Big Co-sign....

I love STAT, but now you know why MDA and he had words in PHX. STAT just isn't aware on D. Last year we stunk on D and a lot of that was STAT. He has always been a bad defensive player and he used to blame it on not being coached, but that's not it. Now everyone can see with their own eyes what the truth was. With Nash and STAT up the middle who could have a good defense?

I've been a Knicks fan for as long as I can remember. All the memories of recent years of bitter disappointment are rushing right back. No Linsanity tonight. Not even decent level of play. We lost to a 6-23 team AT HOME. Dallas is going to kill us and Miami is going to bury us. I'm sorry, I'm so ****ing upset tonight, I had my hopes up like all of you Lin fans, and he just ended up looking like another Marbury.

agreed 150%

I dont like losing to NO
But I miss Trevor Ariza original Knick

He took it to us 1st half of game and set the tone for Knicks downfall
He had something to prove & has a nba title ring

Just goes to show Mike Dantoni still isn't the right head coach for this team.

Knicks got no stops when they should've.

And again, they relied on the 3 too much.

Dantoni basketball isn't winning basketball.

Fields' has lost his shooting touch. The ball comes off his hands so flat now except when he shoots along the baseline. He needs to see a shooting shrink. It's ugly to watch.

The Knicks turned the ball over 21 times and had their opportunities. We just won 7 out of 8 games. We can't win them all. Disappoiting for sure but at the end of the day it's not the coach's fault if players miss open looks and make dumb passes.

You are insane. Add Melo and JR to the team in the fourth quarter and we come back from a blow out to blow them out.

Knicks over achieved with the talent level they were playing with. Its good that Melo is coming back because they sure could have used him tonight. All NOLA did was pck the paint on defense and back door the Knicks all game Long.

simple for me.. yea we turned the ball over early in the game, but honestly, we didn't defend well

we didn't hit outside shots.. the best shooter tonight was lin who was just splashing jumpers..

Now we know why they are getting JR smith....

Fields, novak, walker, all Klank

shump wasn't much better shooting..

Amare, did well on the boards tonight, but that defensive lapse letting this Ayon guy get a pass for a layup down 2 is inexcuseable.. you are supposed to be the star amare, yet we have to sub you with jeffries for defensive purposes.. inexcusable..

The hornets pulled shots out of their arse... Nice game arzia.. but classic example of bumitis.... you can only play well I guess if you are facing a former team.. guys like that to me are money stealers.. play like this every game.. otherwise you are a bum in my book...

Refs were scared to call walk vs kaman tonight and vazques has to be the slowest PG on the planet... didn't beat anyone off the dribble much, yet he had about 11 assists.. yea, the hornets were pulling shots out of their rear end..

lin with just 1 second half turnover, but played very well otherwise, knicks can't keep looking for basically a rookie to bail them out every game..

horrific loss..

Before this run the Knicks were an 8-15 team that struggled to beat the Bobcats. The Knicks should have Melo back on Sunday. They are much improved. I think you have to expect let downs. The Knicks turned the ball over too much to win against most teams and couldn't pull it out in the end. I think they will be very competitive against Dallas and Miami and my guess is they will win 1/2.

Lin's turnovers are caused by the same thing that caused Melo's horrid shooting (over double teams). Lack of backcourt production. When you're offense is simple, and the opposing team KNOWS who is going to score the ball and make plays, and who can't score the ball and can't make plays, you are screwed. Teams KNOW about Lin now thanks to non-stop media coverage. If the Hornets can stop this team AT HOME, how much more an elite team? I told you guys you can't rely on Shumpert and Fields. They are no-shows when it counts.

Now add Melo and JR to the equation and there are no packed defenses. There are no double teams. We have four legitimate scoring options, and opposing teams can only gameplan to stop ONE. Try to double Melo on the post and JR will wet your arse. Lin will have a field day on your compromised defense. Overload on the Lin pick-and-roll and Melo will fck you up in single coverage. Just too many options.
