It has to be said: STAT is hurt. Billups is hurt. We basically have Carmelo Anthony and spare parts out there and we're up 1 on the defending Eastern Conference champs on their home floor. I know our default setting as Knicks fans is "miserable cynicism" but these guys are playing with brass ones.

man i have no idea how we are up by 1 right now

Melo has to keep this up for us to have a chance, but i don't know if he can though

anyways now is not the time to hate on TD, he is not starting because he wants to, but because Billups is hurt and we have nobody else.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I thought Walker and Williams really played well on both ends. Also Jared Jeffries definitely stepped up in a major way.

I do it's our defense and Melo's double double, Turiaf's effort and Jeffries making layups.

We're up by 1 basically because overall the team is getting the boards and playing decent defense. Also Boston isn't playing well either, but that may be because the knicks are playing better D.

We are essentially playing Boston style of play.

Toney D is gonna need to step up and knock down some triples in the 2nd half. I hope Landry can get going at some point. His shot is just way off at this point. Completely bricked the 2 FTs.
