Melo might feel like he doesn't need it but I'd like to see them set more picks for him. Let him get into rhythm if he is having trouble getting a good look. Would like to see Melo and Stat play more 2 man ball. Have one set up the other for a few plays and vice versa.

Not enough players on this team who can create their own shot, sometimes almost half the guys on the floor. That has to be addressed in the offseason.

Was thinking the same thing. Celts sent Pierce off some nice screens/curls late in the 4th that resulted in baskets.

fields' game has really regressed since the trade. he seems to have hit the rookie wall. in addition, he no longer gets the passes when he makes a good cut because STAT & MELO both need to get theirs.

rondo had a nice pick of toney D to effectively end any knicks chances. 12 dimes, 2 steals. i'll take him over anything we've got.

its all iso with melo. he gets grumpy when he doesn't touch the ball. he needs to grow up.

They played well enough to win and there are no moral victories, but i'll take a loss to the c's knowing they were right there.

What happened at the end of the comes down to coaching and comfort levels.

you saw guys playing hot potato with the rock, it didn't look like they had any set play called. Looked like street ball, what should of happened was call timeout and lets run a play for a high % shot.

Ray Allen: (The Knicks) have great one on one players.

Ouch

If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Yeah, Pierce knows how to use them.

Knicks played hard, but imploded... other than melo and stat, we have no other player that can get off and NBA shot.. but hey.. role players are easy to replace...

Amare has the worst hands I have seen in a big man..

Billups stumbles and bumbles at the worst possible times.. really, this guy is playing on rollerskates in an oiled fill arena...

I guess it is time to blame dantoni.. right?

Honestly, you can keep melo and amare for all it is worth, keep billups if you must.. but burn the rest of the bums on this team.. every, single player other than the three I mentioned are not NBA rotation material not if you want to win games..

They played hard, but as I said, when you gut your team.. this is what you get..

knicks will be under .500 by the end of the week.

tfk, the bench played ok. toney was confident tonight. did our superstars not get owned when it mattered?

Had enough Melo?

We will end the season at .500, which at the end of the day will be an improvement from last year.I think we got excited after the miami game and forgot how hard it is to gut your team with a few weeks left.

What we're seeing is just what every PG seems to go thru when they 1st play with us. Duhon started ugly, Felton, a bunch of lesser players. This is not as easy as people would like to think and CB is making mistakes he never makes, which tells me he's struggling to grasp things and to know just what he wants to do. FOLKS THIS IS ALL ABOUT CHEMISTRY!!! PLEASE no more posts about how awful a player is or the coach etc. This is really about the Knicks not having any real chemistry and when you face teams that are in a flow it's easy for things to fall apart for the Knicks right now. Imagine how good this team will be when they are all in synch?

Guys don't know what they're doing out there and we can still compete with the best teams. It's hard to beat the C's who have YEARS together and all kinds of chemistry and experience. Meanwhile the Knicks are stumbling over each other.

Our stars didn't really get a chance down the stretch. Turnovers by Billups and Douglas. STAT did ahve that airball though. A couple bad 3's. Just sloppy basketball.
