They gave up 100 points but they played very good defense today. They did the best they could against Delfino, Salmons and Mbah-Moute. Those guys are just really talented players and they will get their points. It wasn't meant to be today.

i didnt see any pleasure. maybe you are confusing his stupid look with his displeasure look?

You had to see it; it was a stupid little grin. Now i've seen him pissed, chewing out TD. He knows displeasure.

I agree 237 games is just not enough a time to figure out if he has any flaws.

Awesome Antoni impersonation. You missed the part about how the only reason the Knicks lost was because their shots weren't falling.

I agree. I just don't know who the coach would play. Did you have any guys in mind that might fit with the coach?

Mike would play a real C who has game. He's playing guys now that aren't any good and we suffer for it. If we even had a guy like Dalembert I believe he would play him gladly. He was willing to play Mosgov and he's not even as good as Dalembert.

This loss tho was very avoidable. It's not that we aren't good enough to beat these teams. We're just clearly out of synch. You see it on offense and on D. This thing is gonna take more time. The parts are coming together yet. The effort is also inconsistent. IMO it seems like there are too many issues for Mike to fix all at once and it's getting the better of him and the players. This is why I was predicting 17-20 games would be needed to work out all the kinks.

Defense was decent enough again to win but our offense is just terrible right now....

Until Billups/Melo adjust to this system, it's going to be painful. I don't care as much about the losses right now because we're pretty much locked into 6th or 7th seed but it's how we're losing that is concerning. Our offense hasn't really progressed at all because although we made strides when Chauncey was out, it looks like we're starting again from scratch since his return.

Defensively, it seems like we're at least putting forth an effort in stretches which is allowing us to be decent enough on that end (obviously consistent effort would be nice).

Yeah, it would have been tougher if he played. I think we would have locked him down though. We did a good job on Larry Sanders. I think we could have held Maggette to 20 points. We are not as bad as people say we are.
