I really thought this was going to be a turn-the-corner win... where the team faces some adversity and steps up. Hopefully, the Knicks beat the grizz who are playing great ball and will want to avenge their loss. But we'll see

6-6 since the trade. We are nothing more than a crap mediocre team. At least with our role players we were fun while losing.

I like the way Douglas played down the stretch.....

What it came down to tonight UNLIKE any other night we scored 117pts.....but the Pacers scored 119pts

I must have missed it. What did Melo do to Jeffries?

Melo was wide open well beyond the arc but Effries through it down low to Fields....probably hoping for a foul call and lucky tip in. Melo proceeds to verbally undress him off the court. That's not leadership that's leaderbitch, which ultimately is kind of persona Melo's carried as a player/teammate. Effries is probably in the locker room choking him 2007 brawl style.

Papabear Says

I just don't understand it. No defense, Well Mike D you got you guy Jarred Jefferies and Dolan you got your guy Melo to raise the ticket prices. What does the fans get? screwed. The Knicks gave up 119 points. No defense. Something is wrong.

Don't sleep on a W. Turmoil seems to be surging here in NY. This is horrible. Can't wait to see how people find a positive out of this pathetic, embarrassing, disgraceful performance.

A GROUP OF MANNEQUINS PLAY BETTER DEFENSE THAN THE KNICKS!!

Not quite as bad more like 110pts every other game. Actually our ppg was going down before the trade because our offense was sputtering

Classic Knicks. Down early. Fake comeback. Lose at the death.

Oh yeah, and let some nobody have a career night against them.

17 games to go. I wonder if the Rockets end up swapping picks with the Knicks. They are .500 now.

Yup, the more things change, brother. Maddening. I'm officially back in wait-and-see mode with these guys.

Please, no more wet fantasy league threads about players someone wishes were available.

Donnie Walsh cannot be feeling good right now. Does he want the headache at his age?

Horrible loss. Even worse than the other night..Other night, we played like GARBAGE and deserved to lose..Tonight we played well enough to win and came up short..Shitty defense, lack of solid interior play..Outside of that one play where Jeffries converted the 'and 1' layup he was GOD AWFUL, including the last play of the game where he passed up a wide open Melo behind the arc in favor of some rediculously low % pass down low..Re-read the Trent Tucker rule --- .3 of a sec IS ENOUGH TIME to get a shot off and Melo has a very quick trigger..So much for Jeffries smarts huh??

The Knicks left guys wide freakin open all night for jumpers. No rotation, no defensive intensity. Can't even hate on Granger hitting the shot, the guy is a baller. I may be jumping on the fire MDA wagon after tonight. There are no more excuses, 6-7 is unacceptable. What's really getting to me is that I truly thought that the Knicks would show up tonight after getting their asses handed to them on Sunday and win big.

Now how is MDA going to try to explain this mess away... His post-game interview is coming up.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Some fans were complaining about our role players but Douglas/Fields/Williams were productive tonight and have been in at least half these games. Doesn't matter we still lose because we thought it best to see if Hansbrough could outdo himself and sure nuff he did.

I mean of all players on their team to check this game it should have been him. He dunked on us, kept offensive possessions alive, got our front court in foul trouble, and scored on about 2 offensive sets for all his pts with no defensive adjustment to him. You know the same thing he did at the Garden and Squared it tonight. Really what was the prep work like for him? Was there any? Didn't look like it. Maybe it's embarrassing you have to key your game plan around a player like Hansbrough so what we're not good enough yet to blow him off as a fluke.
