The NBA needs to address a lot of things and I think they will this summer. I think the point you made is valid but needless to say it's been called this way for such a long time. If offensive players can decide game with cheap calls and being serenaded to the line well defensive players/plays should be afforded the same. It's gotta be both ways. When the NBA failed to address the flopping issue I think we all saw it was a sign of bad things to come. It's ironic to see a Superstar not get a Superstar call isn't it? This was a time you'd prefer the Superstar call be made right? For the record although Melo had tons of costly errors tonight he was the furthest reason as to why we lost. He played an overall well rounded game. |

I doubt Parker blocks his shot from behind trailing him but then again Melo the Superstar was getting his ish pushed in all night mixed with bunny hopping so maybe you're on to something..... It's easy for us to sit here and talk about what he could have done. Fact remains there was 7 seconds on the clock. Not a whole lot of time to play around when we were down by 2. If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Not a whole lot of time to play around when we were down by 2. 7 sec is plenty of time to drive past a slower footed defender and pull up for a shot. Like Albert said Melo was caught off guard after he saw the Red Sea part of for 1.5sec then went all in and committed. I'm not blaming him, I just think he could have used better offensive judgement there according to how the game was being called with him. |

![]() That was a terrible last possession but against the Cavs, that shouldn't have happened. But whatever, giving how we've played recently I'd say this is more of a fluke than say, against Miami

But as you said, this team has other problems, and our guards defense is a huge problem.. TD did a horrible job defending scrubs like sessions.. as far as our big man situation.. we need another big to help amare out.. I mean really, letting a clown like samardo samuels think he belongs on this level is a joke.. to have him poking his chest out vs us is inexcuseable!!! This year is so close to such a waste. We were on a very good track and it's unfortunate we cracked. Meanwhile Moz is getting DNP'd and AR is getting PT being more productive than a couple of our starters the past 2gms.....UNREAL! |

Too much was given up in the Melo trade and Randolph is on D'Antoni just like Hill was last year.tkf wrote:Juice wrote:tkf wrote:Juice wrote:AnubisADL wrote:Juice wrote:ATrain wrote:Juice wrote:I thought Melo told us earlier NO MORE BULLY BALL? ![]() Douglas is part of the rotation, for better or worse. But once Billups is back, and that will probably be vs. Atlanta, he should never see time as a PG. He is a joke of a PG.
