i thought Amare did a crappy job tonight in the 4th quarter, trying to force up shots in traffic & making bad turnovers... maybe that's why Felton didn't want to go to him.

I don't think he has that option. 13 out of 14 of the last games, Felton shot under 50%, yet he continued to take his shot. Sometimes I feel as though he believes that he is the 2nd option. He's not

Felton got double teamed at the top of the key & passed it off to Gallo who swung it over to Shawne Williams who had a wide open look at a 3 in the corner & passed it up & laid up a half arse floater attempt off the dribble... that is not a mistake on Felton in any way, shape or form... again, if u watched the 4th quarter u would have seen Amare forcing up shots in the paint in the 4th quarter & making some costly turnovers... he was not on his game... i have no problem whatsoever w/Amare not getting the ball on the last possession in that PnR, Thaddeus Young left Williams wide open in the corner to rotate to pick up Amare on the PnR, Amare was not open... Shawne Williams got the ball in his hands after he has just made the last 3 pointer from the same exact spot to get the game within 2 points on the previous possession & he just simply made a bad decision to pass up the shot & drive... that's not on Felton.

I kept saying to myself. should gallo have faked the shot and then drove to the basket? I think he made the right pass to williams. I wish williams had shot it, but honestly, why were we in this position to this team?

the Sixers have been playing great in recent weeks, won 5 of 6 coming into this game including victories over the Jazz & Nuggets... the Knicks got off to a double digit lead after Felton went on his offensive tear in the 3rd quarter but then they started forcing up shots in the paint & making boneheaded turnovers in the 4th quarter... Iggy started hitting his shots & the Knicks stopped playing defense for the first 11 minutes... they finally got some defensive stops in the final minute & Gallo & Williams both made 3's to get the team back to within 2.

i agree Gallo made the right decision swinging the ball to the corner to a wide open Williams... Gallo was covered & the middle was clogged up by Thad Young who rotated over to cover Amare... Williams had an open look & had a brainlock... at least he was man enough to own up to his mistake in his postgame comments... hopefully the next time he has the chance he won't hesitate.

i guess it's weird i'm hearing all these complaints about Felton taking shots these days but i didn't hear anyone complaining when he was averaging 16 shot attempts per game during our last 8 game winning streak.
