relax dude... no one's unhappy about a win... we just wanna see our bench guys get some burn in a blowout win... nothing wrong w/that.

Cant compare this year to last year. Last year you could make the argument that he should have played Hill more because not only were we losing, but the team had a bunch of spare parts that had no future here. This year, we are winning games. Cant complain too much about AR not gettig much burn because the coach found, in his mind, a winning formula. I would love to see AR play and produce but the coach is not going to put guys out there that he thinks wont help him win. Walsh brought in AR, but if MDA loses games while giving AR ample playing time, the coach gets fired. Walsh wont show any sympathy just because his boy got minutes. Just tryng to look at it from the coaches perspective.

I don't think garbage time is going to help Randolph's game, or his confidence, IMO. He is going to need real minutes.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

It was a great win but it is the second year in a row that a lottery pick is in D'Antoni's dog house again and that does get frustrating. Its hard not to notice where Randolph stands when he doesn't come in until the end of the bench clearing.

Good game. Good job outscoring a team like the thunder. Fields looked shaky at first but got it together at the right time. All the starters looked good for the most part. The rest of the rotation played well. I'm glad AR and Moz got some time, even if it was garbage time.

AR didn't provide any highlight reels, but he didn't look like a high schooler picked from the stands like he has for the last few weeks. He moved the ball around and crashed the boards when someone put up a shot. Maybe a little closer to getting more PT.

Mosgov still looks a bit nervous out there but he's trying. He showed in the worlds that he can catch a ball in traffic so this should pass. Hopefully sooner rather than later

You are right- I have been watching the game and not reading the thread, but it was strange to come on and read folks getting annoyed during garbage time. As I said above, a guy like Randolph is not going to regain his mojo from a few minutes against the second string when nothing really counts. In fact, he is more likely to do foolish things since garbage time usually means "let me do my thing time."

i'll say i did like what little i saw out of Mozgov in those garbage minutes, he didn't look nearly as tentative as i've seen him in the past & he was aggressive taking it to the hole on a couple possessions... almost threw down a pretty monstrous dunk on 1 of them... hope to see more of that kind of play from him in the future when he gets his next shot to play.

i agree, garbage minutes can only do so much to improve a guy's confidence, but you gotta start somewhere... i mean if you're the last guy off the bench i think it sends a pretty clear message as to where you stand in the coach's eye... that can't help a young kid who's psyche is fragile enough as it is... i think this is the type of kid that needs a little bit of coddling to build him up... i don't view AR as the type of kid that will fight through this type of benching & come back fighting, just doesn't seem to be in his nature... he's probably not a good fit for this coach if he views him so low... we're probably better off trading him... only problem is his value is so low right now because of all the DNP's that we won't hardly get fair value in return for a kid w/his talent.

nice win. startes played under 25 minutes each and were productive..

nice game for chandler 21/5/4

gallo was very solid, and played good defense. 13/4/5/2, and showed some aggresiveness posting up durant and drawing a foul after durant came down and scored on him.

Fields with 14/10/3/2/1 is a stat stuffer. great all around game

Turiaf with 11/2/1 had a huge impact on bothe ends..

TD: 9/5/3 was just solid all around

Williams: 7/3 blocks, was huge, played good on both ends..

Amare: professional performanc with 23/7/4/3, that sequence with those blocks were amazing to watch..

Felton: although he took too many shots for my liking.. 12/10/6 is a nice game...

Russel westbrick is not a PG, he is an athletic guard, not very skilled, but big and quick... not a fan of his game at all..

Durant is, durant... LOL.. damn good..

great, team win...

tfk really? I heart Westbrook. He's not the true floor general but his passes find easy shots and he's a total monster on both ends of the court.

Regardless this was a great win. OKC had a great road record and were 4-1 on the 2nd half of b2bs. Knicks simply played great on both ends. You hear MDA yelling about defense? WTF... I thought he didnt care.

This was a much needed win
