You guys really have to watch the game more intently and not get too hung up on numbers. Gallo is a very smart basketball player. ALL the plays he made yesterday was very good basketball decisions. He had 5 assists but his other passes resulted a basket as well. His entry pass to the post for Amare or Wilson is awesome. He gives it to them where they can do something with the ball and very catchable. His defense is superb. He ran the floor well again that created spacing. The other team is just concentrating on him and he his so unselfish that he does not force things. Also, watch Gallo run back on defense all the time. Watch him create space for Amare by just forcing his man to stay home instead of doubling.I know I am a big Gallo fan but as a basketball fan, but you have to enjoy the way this man plays basketball. His BBall IQ is off the charts.
i am one who loves players who don't try to force things but gallo half the time was not making good decisions. pull up contested 3s five feet beyond the arc are usually not good decisions.
One of the things he's going to need to learn is to be able to score even when his shot isn't falling which also means being aggressive without forcing shots. Toronto is not a team with great defensive wings to guard him either.
Oak.. gotta go w/ Bocker here. Gallo played very good defense and was a part of the action. He's playing very unselfish, and we are scoring a lot of points, so its not like we are lacking the scoring we know he can give us. I think he's showing he can do a lot more to help us win besides shoot/score.
Great win... by the end of the game it was clear the Knicks are in higher talent class than the Raps. We have a star in Amare, a stud in Felton and a deep supporting cast in Gallo/Chandler/Fields/etc
Looking forward to every game. 9 out of 10 is awesome no matter who is on the schedule
