nothing like having the diva and his agent demanding to be traded to us...

Arum Tellum is the one spreading all these McGrady to NY rumors.

The deal is DEAD folks.

Thats not the man to be dismissing and pissing off. He's Reke Evans agent. Taking on Jeffries for a half a year might be worth it to avoid a headache.

Interesting take on the situation.

Tyreke Evans is on a rookie deal for the next 4 years.

Sacramento will just buyout McGrady out and save the cash.

yeah, they can buy him out and he can come here. we're still stuck with jeffries come summer time, but we get to keep our "prize" prospect jordan hill and our precious picks. i think that sounds like the most likely scenario at this point.

Agents got long memories, fam. When Reke signs with the Knicks in 2013, Tellum will call up the Maloofs and say "remember when I wanted to get my man T-Mac in the Garden and you fukked us over? well, how you like me now?"

Its not like Jeffries is in the 2nd year of a sixth year deal. Jeffries turns into an expiring next year. This deal can get done if people just compromise and its not like the Maloofs are hurting for bread either.

jeffries can be traded in the offseason as an expiring contract.

Sacremento can just buyout McGrady and he can go wherever he wants. I think that is better from Sacremento's perspective. Why take on Jefferies contract when you can resolve any cap issues this season.

this trade is dead. Come on now...

For the Kings to take Jared Jeffries, they're also asking for David Lee and picks in N.Y., source says. Guess how that's going over at MSG?

You joking? They want picks too. We can't play ourselves here ya know.

The Knicks failed. No 2 max guys for them. Nothing will happen.

Oh well, welcome Rudy Gay to a max deal this summer. Or even better, welcome Mr. David Lee to a max deal.

I'd like to have both of those guys, but judging by how DWalsh gives contracts, there's no way either would get a max deal.

Man, they took a look at Hill and said no give us Lee. Wow, I thought that Lee could be used in a S&T for future picks. Now he is value is to be only a part of getting rid of Jeffries contract with ONLY 1 year left on it along with picks. Something doesn't seem right about this.

Neither scenario is no more superior than the other (giving McGrady money for free or trading for scrub ass Jeffries) but at least Jeffries can turn into an asset next year.
